I'm quite jovial in the fact that people get upset what's in there, it's on the same ****ing playing field as The Sun, The Daily Star, whatever ****e tabloid newspaper you want to name. Find it strange that anything said would reduce him to tears to be honest. But I don't neccessarily subscribe to the notion that this - if it is racist abuse from a fan - will cause irreparable damage to our reputation. On the contrary, it will be a chance to show that the club is 100% committed to fighting racism by dealing with the guilty parties in the strongest manner possible (life time ban most likely, provide evidence to the police for prosecution).

Agree. Can't see the FA sanctioning a club for something like this, after the Suarez incident you could then sanction every club in the UK, except the mancs of course.

I'm always surprised that people are surprised by the Mirror's coverage of Liverpool. It's been called the Daily Manc from as far back as the mid-60s from my personal recollection - and with good reason. It's a shockingly bad newspaper without any redeeming features whatsoever
