With respect I think that is slightly sensationalist viewpoint. So because of the actions of a few people, our entire club and fanbase will now be viewed as racists. I don't think so. It is perhaps a situation where the club can prove its stance on racism by dealing with this situation in the proper way. I don't think we all need be tarred with the same brush.

Its quite simple. The club have already stated that they are working with police. They will help identify the culprit and when/if found guilty they will receive a life ban.

Also, Daily Mirror has updated their story away from their false facts.

I can see incidents like this happening at other grounds too, mainly because of the stupidity of many football fans/humans, and the overwhelming coverage racsim is getting in the news just now.

He's allegedly a Liverpool fan though? That's what i read, dunno if true. If he is, rightly or wrongly, it may discredit the value of his word perhaps.

Yeah the guys involved need to be absolutely hammered. The timing is so bad, and they have let down every supporter of the club, and even more so by wearing his t-shirt Luis Suarez in a big way. But in this instance (if proven) racism absolutely cannot be tolerated.

I think we are all felling slightly raw to this situation, having debated it at length on these pages over the last few months. Which is why we feel so let down by what happened. But to my mind even if these guys did racially abuse this guy, whilst terrible, the club can reaffirm its stance on racism by prosecuting and banning these guys, and still defend its position with Suarez.
