Out of curiosity - would he get offended if someone called him a white cunt as well seeing as he has as much white genes in him as black ones? What do u guys think??

If it is inteded as offensive because the person delivering it sees white people as inferior to their own race then there is no difference. Obviously this specific case doesnt apply, but it is still just as offensive

Mate I think some people, well meaning people are genuinely confused about this issue, not suggested Nick is one of those people. Also I would just like to remind everyone the world is a very big place with different cultural norms etc, we should not all be very quick to cast judgements on people.

For me Race relations, racism ,multiculturilsm is a very complex issue and one which is rarely if ever tackled in school, in the community or at home. Education, communication, understanding and respect should be the order of the day

I'm late to the debate here so excuse my laziness in not going through all 16 pages. A thought occured to me when I saw this incident .... What if a Latin America supporter in the crowd at Anfield shouted 'Negro or Negrito' at somebody that was reported?

Whilst refusing to comment on the Terry situation due to pending court case, he has commented on the Adeyemi situation despite a police investigation still taking place

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the Oldham players statement says he was called a black ******* but as he had his back to the kop at the time he has no idea who shouted the abuse.
Then there are conflicting witness statements with some backing up the racist claim and others (including the steward closest to the area of the kop) adament that Manc ******* was what was shouted at him.

The only thing certain about this whole incident is that Patrice Evra is a cunt of the highest order and is going to get pelters during the cup tie.
I also hope the fans that are there aren't stupid enough to racially abuse him when he goes to collect the ball for a throw in etc....
There will probably be 20 more microphones dotted around the pitch than usual

Therein lies the problem. Someone is bound to say or do something stupid. It only takes one out of 45,000 and the media is going to have a field day.

These are only football supporters after all..... Some people are stupid enough to support Utd then anything is possible!
