Not the kid's fault, no blame attached to him, but the condemnation was a disgrace. I wonder if any of those cunts will take it back.

I can't help but wonder how much the press reaction to the Suarez incident and the condemnation of the club and the fans received around this time influenced what Adeyemi thought he heard.

The press (The Mirror in particular IIRC) were a disgrace in what they said about the club and the fans after this incident but I don't expect an apology
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Dont suppose we will hear from Lord Ouseley or Piara Powar either

        Technology today

Saved the guy accused on this occasion but man, got to be careful what you say and do these days. Mistakes don't get forgotten about anymore.

Amazing that they have all this wonderful technology and yet still no evidence whatsoever of one single utterance of racial abuse directed towards Evra by Suarez. Innocent until proven guilty unless of course you're a foreigner who doesn't speak English particularly well. Smacks of pure racism.

But many more Liverpool supporters insisted fan had been shouting 'Manc *******' not 'black *******' and sound evidence was inconclusive

Without going over all this again.

Suarez admitted to saying what he said, unfortunately.
Had he not admitted to saying anything, we wouldn't be discussing this now.

Suarez admitted to saying some of what the FA decided he said. The sentence was based on things he denied saying. Things that were more significant as they were overtly racist, and fell outside the bounds of his misinterpretation of language defence that had been backed up by the linguistic experts.

The point being, he should have said nothing at all and denied everything..As in this case, there was no sufficient evidence to charge him..

Unless of course he actually didn't say anything remotely racist and believed that the truth would prevail.

The point is that you were wrong to suggest Suarez had admitted uttering racist abuse.

This of course is total bull****.

The commission found that on the basis of probability Suarez racially INSULTED evra seven times.

Are you saying that because he admitted using a word once in what ( in his opinion) was a non racial way, it is understandable that he would be found guilty of saying it seven times?

This despite the fact that evra and ferguson accused him of saying it five times, and the even more important fact that there was not even one shred of video, aural, or third party evidence that he said it more than the once he admitted to.
