either kelly or johnson on the right wing would ensure some service into the box. we cant score if the ball doesnt get put into the box.

Maxi wasn't even on the bench against City, do unless the plan all along was to nick one then play 6-3-1 I dont think he has a future here. Which is a shame as I like him.

Isn't Maxi's contract up at the end of the season? Pity he doesn't get game time to be honest.......

I think against Stoke, we will need options on the bench to change the game if it's not going our way - with Kuyt, Bellamy and Maxi on the bench, we would have that.....

Also, i reckon that Johnson at right wing might be an idea.....we might be stuck later in the season and need him to play there so it mightn't be a bad idea to try him there. He has a good cross and a good engine as well - i'd prefer to see him there than Kuyt based on current form to be honest....also, Kelly needs games / confidence after last night...........i don't think it'd be best to put him back onto the bench at this stage.....

Quite interested in knowing what our team will be for this one.

I'm guessing that Spearing will be out and Bellamy will be rested because of his knees. Not sure if Gerrard will start as he's still coming back to full fitness. Then we've got Kuyt who didn't get a sniff on Wednesday and Maxi who wasn't even in the squad. Downing was ****e again but I think he'll start.

Think we'll go something like:

Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique
Henderson Adam
Kuyt Gerrard Downing
Carroll

Not sure what formation we'd go but I imagine it'll be something like that. I'd bring in Maxi for one of Kuyt or Downing, but other than the wide area's I think the team picks itself right now.
