Stoke are allowing us to have the ball in midfield, they usually have at least 8 players between the ball and the goal, yes we're passing the ball around well but we're not threatening at all, and have created nothing so far in the game.

Kenny obviously doesn't fancy Carroll against big lads like Huth Woodgate and Shawcross.
Bellamy instead of Kuyt would make sense.

Is it Kenny and Commolli together, or just Commolli or just Kenny?

Is Commolli just a glorified scout?

I don't understand how our transfers work

          We need more defenders
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

All that money spent and creativity / goals are still the major issue. Downing at 27 should be at his peak but is just not good enough. Carroll has the potential and needs to be playing in games like this with Suarez out.

Coates has looked assured and confident, especially with the ball. We need to continue to push Coates or Skrtel forward and bring on Maxi for Downing as he works better in a tight space

FSG seem the real deal. Business behind closed doors and a good youth policy.
It's not Knee Jerk at all. I am 100% confident in our owners.

I just don't think they are going to give us £100m every window, the point was more how the money was spent than the financial backing that was given.

That's part of it, but for me there's no real tempo to the game, we're not playing with high energy or moving the ball quickly enough to catch Stoke players out of position. .

I'd haul Dirk off asap, offers nothing up top on his own - Bellamy and Carroll on for Downing and Dirk please!

This is the biggest problem we have, players are either too slow to get to the box in time, are scared of getting in the box or are being told not to go in the box en masse for fear of a counter attack.

When someone does eventually make a cross it needs to be pinpoint because there's normally only one person there if at all. Bloody clueless.

It's always hard when teams 'park the bus' and its flair players like Luis and Bellamy that open them up, with their movement and pace.

Either that or if Carrolls in the mood we being him on and let him battering ram through them.

We can play until dawn with that lineup and we'll still not score.

Kenny must shake things up as if he doesn't or waits too long we may drop another 2 points.
I'd forgotten that, but it was a fairly comfortable save, we haven't really tested him yet, despite all the possession.

I'm going to bang on again that Enrique is guilty of slowing the attacking play down which allows our opponents breathing space. As good as he is at most things, there's very little end product from Enrique and therefore he really must be asked to move the ball on to an attacking player.

                              Basically, we build too slowly
I disagree with that as to me it was the opposite.

It is Downing that slows things down as he cannot take the man, starts running with ball until the defender approaches him and then he stops running, starts desperately scoping the pitch to see what to do next as he is like a lost puppy out there, waits for ages to decide what to do with the ball and then passes when our player is already covered.

He has no confidence and I don't understand why is constantly playing on the right as he is so predictable there and always cuts inside and tries to cross and hit the ball with his weaker foot.

Very frustrating to watch him play.

More so referring to the likes of Downing's being counted as a chance or Henderson's..................there not chances, but when we trot out a 0-0 here, we're gonna have the usual "not taking chances" as if we are really putting the likes of Stoke to the sword at home like we should be.

Get men on the ball, get around Stoke, make some movement, get people in the box if Glen (capable) and Enrique (less capable) are in wide positions. Stevie, Bellamy, Johnson and Henderson are maybe the only ones capable of doing that in that squad if we're honest though.
