Let's not forget that in addition to the fee that we paid, which was inflated, those 2 will also end up costing us apparently 160k in wages per week which is another 33m over the next 4 years, if they stay around that long.
I'd take £25m for both right now. The squad won't be any worse without them.

That was worse than anything i've witnessed in a long, long time.

In regards to the match, The whole defence was shambolic apart from Agger, and a rot seemed to set in from the start a spread like wildfire throughout the entire team, nervy and panicked was weird just couldn't settle. But the defence have been rock solid so i would forgive them a nightmare, let's hope it's an isolated incident!!

Bellamy apart the rest should hang their heads in shame, absolutely shocking display.

I love Kenny he is a LFC legend and always will be, but his has been proven to be tactically inept several times this season. His tactics are jurassic and dated, he seems too old school for the modern game IMO and needs to come to terms with the todays style. Lot of people mentioned that he has been so long out of the game when he was appointed, and that it would be worrying if he could adjust and get with the times. Seems those worries and fears have come through .His complete lack of urgency and willingness to makes changes when they are necessary, frustrates the life out of me. Talk of Rafa is ridiculous too and very knee jerk! What is it with LFC fans wanting former players and managers back?

As regards our transfer business, simply put without any sugarcoating.... Stuart Downing and Andy Carroll are not good enough to play for LFC and IMO should be offloaded asap, that's not knee jerk just not good enough!I'm still angry and want to say more but sure best leave it at that.

Adam is useless and a liability when asked to anything that involves defensive responsibility, he is a model to get booked or sent off in every game with his tackling. He is only a squad player and for me is best when given a role away from the whole defensive side of the game, which clearly we can't offer at the moment. Henderson is nowhere near ready for first team, fades like a flower and dissapears, he has time but for me the guy has to do more in games. What does he do exactly?

Anyways our purchases have made us a laughing stock, i can only imagine what FSG think about the outcome and productivity of our spending. Kenny and Comolli are culpable for this, simple as that. I dread to think what is going to happen if we don't buy some quality players and buy them now!!!

In summary, when Reo Coker is made look like he's Pele.... you've got ****ing problems!

P.S. The so called "pass and move" under kenny? We play some of the worst, lethargic football in the league, that pass and move is non existent at LFC at moment.

        See this for now

Kenny Dalglish could not hide his anger at his side's performance following Liverpool's 3-1 defeat at Bolton Wanderers on Saturday evening.

Mark Davies put the home side ahead inside four minutes before Nigel Reo-Coker doubled their advantage before the half-hour mark.

Craig Bellamy gave the Reds hope when he reduced the arrears before the break, but Gretar Steinsson secured victory for Bolton when he netted five minutes into the second half.

Dalglish told his post-match press conference: "The result is disappointing, but the most disappointing thing for me was that I don't think we were ready to play the game.

"I don't think the approach was correct and I don't think the way we went about our work was correct.

"The foundations of the football club have always been built upon respect for other people and the philosophy that the next game is the most important one - not the one that is two or three (games) down the line.

"If they needed a lesson to be taught to them then today was it. If they think they can just turn up and get a result, not be as competitive and not match the opposition for effort and commitment then they've got a lesson today.

"If they've learned it then fine. Without trying to take anything away from Owen (Coyle) and the way Bolton played, we have to look at ourselves and see what we can do to try and prevent it from happening in the future. That's what we'll do."

Liverpool face the second leg of the Carling Cup semi-final against Manchester City on Wednesday at Anfield, before playing host to Manchester United in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday.

Reporters asked Dalglish whether he felt his players may have had one eye on the cup ties.

He replied: "I never asked them what they were thinking about, but I would assume people would have that idea in their mind. If they did it's not correct.

"It's not correct in the sense that it is not the right way to go about representing this football club."

Dalglish admitted he was disappointed with the way Liverpool approached the contest, and believes it led to a below-par opening in which Bolton took the lead.

The manager continued: "We lost a goal after four minutes, but we've got to make sure we're in there and ready to go before we start the match, and I don't think we were. That's probably why we lost a goal after four minutes.

"There's nobody been at this football club that's not had respect for other people. If that is what the problem was then, that they thought this game wasn't as important a game as the next one, then fine but they'll not be here.

"The key now for us is not to repeat what we've done."

              Actually I'd take it too.

That money would be enough to buy D. Texeira and Dyer/Hoilett and they cannot possibly turn out to be any worse than Carroll/Downing pair.

Nice to hear Kenny, but in the end, the buck stops with you. It almost borders on a Roy-style player assassination attempt without being specific..........if he doesn't think we approached the game properly, then he shouldnt have to look too far for a reason.

Kenny Dalglish just said some players won't be in red shirts much longer if play like that again. Said they were disrespectful. Strong. #lfc
I'm not a religous person but I pray to the Almighty that Adam is on the chopping block. Absolutely woeful 'performance'; totally out-played and out-hustled.

"who do they think they are that they think they can just turn up at Bolton and come away with 3 points"

Very pointed remark from Kenny and a very accurate one. That's were clubs like scum have left us behind in the premier league era, always professional, fully focused while playing dross and reap the rewards of that approach.
