Might as well look forward rather then dwelling on the past.As sad as this next statement of mine is going to be it is true. This season so far we up our game against the big teams and play **** againts others. I've ever reason to think we will win both games or do well against them.

Two bad points for the games ahead are no DM and Bellamy you will imagine will only play one out the 2. But I'd happily have Henderson and Gerrard in the middle.

We know it will be a 4-4-2 and we need a performance after Wigan, Stoke and now Bolton.

City probably cannot wait to play us right now. IF we can get through Wednesday and get to Wembley, our season could still turnaround. Lose and it will be a massive blow and I am not sure we have enough players with the mental strength needed to get our season back on track.

Actually I think in a weird kind of way that performance will help us in this game, I have never felt so ****ing angry about a performace or at least for a very long time ... think the last time i was that angry was when we did not turn up against Wigan when we were pushing for the Title

I tell you if those shower of over paid windbags dont pull there ****ing pampered fingers out and put at the very least a blood guts and thunder performance against city ... things will turn ugly fast .. 20 years of this ****ing **** is ****ing long enough

I hope Spearing is back, we need someone sitting in front of the back four, as that's the space City will look to exploit. If he isn't back then maybe Carragher will play the DM role? (Although I have a feeling this may not be a popular suggestion)

I can't wait for these games coming up.

It's why we're in football. If it goes pear-shaped, then I dread to think of the consequences. I have no doubt that the likes of Gerrard and Reina will get these lads going, along with Carragher.

I don't think we'll have a better opportunity of grabbing silverware in a while than this. We don't have to win, but we should go for it. We need Spearing's aggression in there.

Even in Rafa's last season, we got up for the Europa League semi-final. How about we get up for this? A chance at Wembley against Championship opposition for a trophy.
