Kuyt is playing well, Downing finally showed up and Adam offensively (defensively he is liability though) has been very good but for me it is Bellamy, Bellamy and Bellamy again.

Give me 2 more like Bellamy and we can challenge for the league.

Far from excellent. He was decent but has a brain meltdown every now and then. What the **** was he doing instead of trying to block De Jong's shot? Stevie was far behind Charlie but at least tried to put in a block there.

He's been class, sensational cross that led to the corner for the goal aswell.

probably want to see it again, but the flight of the ball couldn't really have been any more perfect.

adam's juke in the box for the pen decision was class too. lots happening in this match (as well as my nephew running around with a football at his feet yelling "look! look at me! goal!!!!" at all times). a real pleasure to watch as long as we're winning

We much the better side. Seriously though where is hendo? Another annoymous display. Bellmay is outstanding!! Downing average for me, bit better towards end as he was actually trying stuff but has do improve massively!

I disagree. We're getting him the ball in good positions. He's still not really trying to beat his man. He'll be running at full speed, then decline greatly as he approaches Richards. His delivery has still been **** and his passing average. Also, the volley he got in the early minutes even though it was a very difficult opportunity, you'd expect that one of your attacking players would at least make some kind of reasonable contact with the ball. In my mind I almost knew he was either going to skew it or miss it altogether.

He provides balance and pretty much nought else

Downing has been better yes, but I don't remember him successfully completing a cross. Still room for improvement methinks.

Downing's biggest critic here, mainly because I've always played left side of midfield and he usually seems like an opposing right back.. But I'm impressed with that, if he's got it in him to beat a man, why not try it more! Come on Stewy!!

Enrique isn't looking his usual self I thought, a bit wasteful and if anything getting in the way when we're going forward, at time to the detriment of Downing.
