This is the story I was thinking ofOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostOther way round with the cup games, they have to offer a bigger allocation. Hence why there were 5000 odd of them at Anfield to watch Evra's **** up.
Supposed to offer 15% but only have to offer 11% and reducing it even further.Football without Origi is nothing

Speaking of our match in the league im wondering how Sky will sort out the crowd noise, obviously Suarez will get a hostile reception but when they came to Anfield ITV turned the microphones down around the ground, the booing was auidable but when we scored it was very quiet.
I'm intrigued as if Sky will do the sameThe times they are a changin'.

What do you base this on?Originally posted by Gibbo9 View PostSpeaking of our match in the league im wondering how Sky will sort out the crowd noise, obviously Suarez will get a hostile reception but when they came to Anfield ITV turned the microphones down around the ground, the booing was auidable but when we scored it was very quiet.

I mentioned it after the game. There were definite phases in the game when the sound from our fans dipped considerably. It wasn't natural. There were definitely a fiddling of microphones.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostWhat do you base this on?
Obviously, it didn't mask the glory of hearing Clive Tyldsley's voice sink as though he'd hit puberty after Agger scored.

I thought you were going to say your mate worked for ITV and he confirmed it.Originally posted by Phoenix06 View PostI mentioned it after the game. But as it stands, it's all basically speculation really.
I dont personally believe TV broadcasters 'maliciously' and deliberately fiddle with microphones to make one set of fans sound better/worse than another. Sounds comically far fetched to me.
