Here is the quote from the Times

Liverpool’s winning goal came after Steven Gerrard had been substituted because of a tight hamstring. The Liverpool captain will have to prove his fitness before tomorrow night’s Barclays Premier League game away to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

You mean, 'damp squib'? Not that squids aren't damp I suppose...

Yeah, this will be our third big match in 6 days. Not expecting it to be very exciting. Just need to get any sort of win out of it!!

I'm so excited. And I just cant hide it. I'm about to loose control and I think I like it.

Jay Spearing could have played Saturday but the club gave him a few more days. Should be available for Wolves lfc.tv/KyH #LFC

So we beat City and United....... as per LFC we will no doubts drop points against Wolves!

If Gerrard has a tight hammy be good to rest him, he looked tired against mancs anyways, probably the run of games catching up on him. IMO Enrique should definitely be rested for this one, Kelly at RB & Johnson at LB.

I'd start Kuyt upfront with Carroll. Hopefully Spearing in midfield with Adam, bit more stability in there with a DM in behind Adam. As for the wings Maxi & Bellamy for me. People talking about resting Agger probably a good shout although changed a CB pairing is always more risky than changing most other positions IMO>

          -----------Reina-------------
          Kelly-Skrtel-Agger/Coates-Johnson
          Maxi-Spearing-Adam-Bellamy
          -------Kuyt----Carroll-------

IMO Looks solid enough and with good attacking options.

              Pepe
              Kelly Skrtel Agger Johnson
              Henderson Spearing
              Kuyt Bellamy Downing
              Carroll

Play Bellers just off Carroll, with the freedom to drift wide as he sees fit. Nobody in the Wolves side will have a clue where he's going and how to pick him up.

Enrique needs a rest for this and Maxi's been pish in his last two outings. Downing and Carroll improving so keep their places.

Same mistake on Soccer Saturday recently, was it by Merson?

Back to the Wolves game ... the plus for us is that Wolves are going to have a go which should leave them open if we suceed in keeping them out. Is Frimpong fit?

If Gerrard doesn't play I would imagine Adam is nailed on to start.

I'm not saying I think he should start but I'd be surprised if he didn't.

If Jay is fit and Stevie has a slight knock then i'd go for this,

                    Reina

                    Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique

                    Henderson Jay Adam

                    Kuyt Bellamy Downing

SUBS: Doni, Carragher, Kelly, Gerrard, Carroll, Maxi, Shelvey

Carroll played well in the 2nd half v Utd, but i'd like to see Bellers uptop again with Andy coming of the bench.

If Jay isn't fit either, then Hendo in the deeper role and Shelvey to start.

                            I think so too.

Spearing, Hendo and Adam is what I expect to see tomorrow with Stevie on the bench as long as he passes the fitness test.

Frimpong is not fit according to .no, and they also have other injuries and suspension in midfield.

I'd like Frimpong to play, it'd be nice to get him sent off again.
