i can't believe the worst utd team in 25 years is going to win the league. that depresses me immensly.

but suarez is back, hopefully he can compliment the team and we don't focus everything on him. carroll is just finding his feet, benching him is the last thing he needs.
For me he was the MOM.

Put in an exceptional shift and provided great help to Agger and Skrtel.

Some excellent passages of football from us. A particularly pleasing aspect was when we attacked in numbers; in one attack we had 5 playes in a line all charging toward their box (which lead to an Adam shot over the bar).

He needs to play WITH Luis, so Bellamy can have some much deserved rest..

He's been a nightmare for defenders, the last few games....

I'd go along with that - looked like he'd never been away

Only 4 points between us but Arsenal play Bolton tomorrow so we'll be back into 6th place no doubt.

I agree, but Bellamy's form has been excellent so it would be a shame to see him dropped to the bench

3 goals, 3 goalscorers, 3 points and a clean sheet away from home whilst missing Gerrard and Suarez.

Hopefully we can push on from this now and start scoring goals and winning games.

And Suarez is back for the next game

                    Well..........

If I thought we would be putting goals away like that then I would say we don't need a striker. Has the penny finally dropped?

Kuyt is finally looking good again, Bellamy remains on fire and Carroll is looking like the player we all thought we were getting. What a difference a week makes in football eh?

Throw in the fact that Gerrard is back and the return of Luis Suarez and I dare say we might have a shot at finishing fourth even if as expected we fail to sign anyone.

Anyhow, a simple win in all fairness. Couple of dodgy moments in the first half, but once we scored the first goal we got our tails up and cruised it. I always have confidence when we get the first goal, it's just when we concede first off against the lesser sides where we struggle to get past the parked bus.
                    Forwards.......

And for those who knock Kenny's inflexible and/or outdated tactics, it was great to see us switch to a 4-3-3 when he noticed the space behind their full-backs.

Bellamy and Kuyt provided a width to our attack, whilst Carroll was that focal point we'd been crying out for him to provide; we got the ball from back to front quickly and opened Wolves up almost at will.

Our passing was swift and incisive in places, Adam did well considering his early booking and Spearing had a worldie of a game. Skrtel and Agger look solid and my only criticism would be behind Johnson, where I think a better team could have caused us problems.

A bit of luck with our goals, but we deserve a bit of a luck and the rub of the green infront of goal, so ... **** yeah! Confidence high, lets tackle Spurs.
