I'd play Carroll in the middle of a front three with Suarez plus one other in the wide forward roles I think Suarez could play either left or right.

A front three of Bellamy Carroll and Suarez would be a nightmare for defenders

Bellamy cant play every game and Kuyt has been just as good/bad Carroll, Suarez is the only outstanding striker and must play every game for me. I'm not bothered who else plays as long as they bang in the goals.

These players need to learn that they have to put in a performance every time they pull the Liverpool shirt. Raising your game only when your place in the team is under threat is not good enough, they can go play for another club if the desire is not there all the time.

We need to get a hold of Parker and Modrioc, last time they just passed the ball around us effortlessly. I liked the fluidity of our team last night players were dropping back changing wings etc, with Jay sitting in front of the back four giving the rest of the team space to go and attack. Although Carroll has been excellent last 3 games I would not want to drop Bellars, I think we need Kuyts industry to help with Bale and his appetite for scoring in big games and think Suarez is the type of player you can throw right back into the thick of it and he'll be itching to get on the score sheet

I wouldn't want to drop Bellamy either but it would be foolish to play him too much and risk injuries.

I think there is a case for keeping Carroll in the team at the expense of Suarez - aiming to ease the latter back in. On the other hand I think the 3 you suggest would offer more in terms of dropping and linking with midfield. I think the key is matching up well in the middle and preventing Modric and Parker running the game.

Luis won't be spending much time on the bench, Kenny will want him straight back in the team.

I would start him. Give him 60 minutes and if he struggles take him off. We need him ready for our next game against Mancs.

He's arguably our best player. We're up against a team that are better than us. Kenny would be a fool not to play him. I'd probably drop Henderson and Adam for this one.

Kuyt on the right to help combat Bale and Gerrard in the midfield. Luis and Andy up top, Bellamy on the left as he deserves to be in ahead of Downing.

I think Adam and possibly Carroll will be dropped and not Henderson. Would be very surprised if Hendo is not in starting lineup.

I'd go with the same lineup even though it seems very harsh as Carroll started showing signs of improvements but primarily due to defensive abilities I'd play Kuyt in this game ahead of him.

Would also play Luis and Bellamy from the start as I think we need them from the go if we fancy chances of winning this one.

I'd like to see the same pressure tactics as the Man City game, so no Carroll for this one , with possibly Suarez in for Bellamy and then using Bellamy as Saurez replacement on the hour.

If Gerrard can occupy Parker and Spearing doesn't allow Modric an inch, they'll lose a big part of their game. Equally if we can push Walker back in to his own half and keep him there - I'm looking to Bellamy here - we can get something out of this game.

I think we have to go 4231 to control midfield, and Suarez offers far more than Carroll would, especially against Kaboul who is very strong in the air.

I wouldn't take Carroll out who is enjoying his best spell in a Liverpool shirt. He is definitely the kind of player who needs regular games to keep him ticking over.

He's won everything in the air in the past two games and Suarez will thrive on his flick ons.

What annoyed me about Carroll previously was his ineffectiveness in the air. We all know he needs development with regards to his game on the deck, but he's a complete beast in the air and he's now finally starting to show this.

Once the team start clicking on to this and stop playing balls behind the defence more attuned to a player like Owen & Torres in their hey day, then we really will see a more effective LFC in the final third.
