Not 'mark', but 'occupy' him. Parker will be tasked with keeping Gerrard quiet, if Gerrard drags Parker around the middle of the park, it would open up space for the third midfielder - most likely Henderson. Spurs will be 4-4-1-1, if the other three are nulifying their three key areas, we will outnumber them in midfield - unless he gets VDV tracking back, which I can't see. Meaning we need a big game from Henderson who should have the time and space to cause mischief.

its one of them that make you really wince and you can actually feel the pain.
the attacker has his foot firmly planted, so the studs are dug into the turf, and the dirt ****er plants his studs on him mid-shin. you can actually the the lads shin flex
