No charge because the ref claims to have seen it! So he saw one of the most horrific "tackles" you'll see all season and didnt even give a free kick!! Utterly bizarre. The rules in this country and ineptitude is just incredible.

Same team except Gerrard for Adam.
        Suarez as sub.
I've said before that I don't believe Spearing to be good enough but he is disciplined defensively which we will need against Spurs.

Since Bolton we have played well and started to convert our chances, no reason to alter all that to rush Suarez back.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

He was looking right a it, it was obvious from the other Spurs reaction and Di Santos he went through him, Wigan have had decisions like that go against them all season, if that was Old Toilet he would have been off no doubt

Not 'mark', but 'occupy' him. Parker will be tasked with keeping Gerrard quiet, if Gerrard drags Parker around the middle of the park, it would open up space for the third midfielder - most likely Henderson. Spurs will be 4-4-1-1, if the other three are nulifying their three key areas, we will outnumber them in midfield - unless he gets VDV tracking back, which I can't see. Meaning we need a big game from Henderson who should have the time and space to cause mischief.

its one of them that make you really wince and you can actually feel the pain.
the attacker has his foot firmly planted, so the studs are dug into the turf, and the dirt ****er plants his studs on him mid-shin. you can actually the the lads shin flex

until the fa grow a pair and ban people retrospectively then these potentially career ending tackles will go on. if they use the excuse that the referee saw it then why didnt it get the straight red it most obviously deserved

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I'd imagine Luis and Steve to return for Adam and Kuyt.

But then you need a player like Kuyt.

Bellamy has to keep his place, put then I'd imagine Kenny picking Downing.

Bit of a werid one when you have players returning from suspensions, injuries and a team thats won 2 on the trott.

I reckon it will end up as a Draw.

Players are going to be left out that dont deserve to be. Nice to be in that situation again! Cant wait for this.
