We need CL again to bring the top class players in IMO.

There aren't too many players out there that aren't already at a big club.

I'd like to see us push for someone like Elia as well, a player that can cause an impact from the bench and provide us with pace and direction from the start.

Not a terrible result but I can't help thinking that it will be our home form that will cost us 4th place.

Gonna be really, really tough to get anything on Saturday so got to hope theres some **** ups around us, all have hard games luckily so should be some dropped points.

Annoying, always feels like we are so close yet so far. Tonight isnt really much of an issue, it's Swansea and other assorted **** getting draws here.

typical lfc. sorry. it was good game defensively, but again, we failed to score against weak (due to many reasons) opponent. but, OK, afterall, a point vs team, which is above us is still quite an achievement.

edit: best moment of the game??? CAT on the pitch. luv it <3

In fairness I wouldn't call that a weak tottenham team, they are 3rd and quite rightly so, they came to frustrate and knew they couldn't win, for the injuries they had, we had no Enrique, Lucas, and a half fit suarez, so fairs fairs hey are an excellent team

I never said they were all deep, but it is incredibly one dimensional and makes us very easy to defend against.

Chelsea are terrible though, we are lucky there are because otherwise the CL would be a near impossibility.

Fair enough.

They're not great at all and we do need to take more of our chances but we're still in with a good shout and from memory we've a pretty decent run in.

Get on a run of 4/5 wins and we'll be looking good, obviously so far we've not managed that but I really do think we're capable of doing so game 1 starts at OT on Saturday

kenny and co have rebuilt the team from the defence up. were much tighter at the back and were ok ish in midfield. my guess is that this summers transfers will focus on the attacking side. we need another two to three attacking players.

then we wilk see next season what happens.

I think Suarez knew he had chances to win the game. It could have been a dream return but alas wasn't meant to be, hence the frustration at the end.
