    Very disappointing attack wise

      Positives
+ We outplayed a very strong Spurs team for the majority of the match, with our defence coping very well against some top class attackers.
+ Carroll had an excellent game for us. His finishing isn't there yet, but his all-round game has improved massively. And he look like he wants it more. Very encouraging signs.
+ Adam also played very, very well in my opinion.
      + Suarez is back!
      + We didn't lose!

      Negatives
      - Still huge questionmarks over our ability to score when we're dominating possession. We rarely seemed to trouble the Spurs back 4. They never really looked under too much pressure.
      - Missed a great chance to overtake Arsenal.

8 Draws at Home. Can't think of 1 that we deserved to draw. Not One.

Overall though, even though I'm really disappointed with the result we definitely played well enough which is pleasing. Waits for mass overreactions with the rest of you lot going into despair about how horrible we are and can never challenge etc etc.
I said the same thing in his thread.

He didn't have many chances but the ones he gets he at least needs to challenge the keeper.

That said, his work rate was very good today but once again we don't have enough quality in the final third to break the opponent defense.

          Very frustrating.

We need a top class wide man, we really do.

Not many teams will control Spurs and keep Modric, Bale, Adebayor as quiet as that, says it all again when all spurs best players are defensive minded, we pretty much limited them to that one Bale counter attack

Still feel slightly disappointed with the result though
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

You moan every game about something though.

Drew with Man City, Beat United, Beat Wolves and draw with Spurs 6 goals in those 4 games with 3 of the 4 being against the 3 in the league.

We're improving in general. Try being positive for once you might like it

It does matter, a recurring theme across the season suggests we are doing something wrong. We had the same problems we have had against much weaker teams.

                    Very frustrating.

It's all starting to click together for the team now we just lack that final ball.

If I'm honest I don't think a point is the end of the world and Im absolutely ecstatic to have Suarez back.

The game against the Mancs will most definitely be more open on Saturday, we will hopefully be able to pick more holes in their defense.

Too many decent players that consistently play the wrong ball.

Let's not forget Spurs had a number of players out. We are definitely behind them in the league for a reason.

What does matter here is that for some time our 'best 11' was unable to break down a team with several key players missing.

Edit - WTF is our 'best 11'?

I don't think we are improving though, away from home we look more dangerous. I have more faith us beating teams like City and United because they don't sit back. It isn't any different than we have seen. We are completely unimaginative.

We have controlled games and looked in control all season, but we have never really looked dangerous in front of goal all season.

                            @AnfieldCat

in my 3 minute cameo I've ran past more players than Stewart Downing has all season

On paper, it's fine. In reality they didn't put a team out that's better than us because they couldn't. They let us have the ball because it's a tried and tested way to screw up our game as so many teams have done at anfield. It wasn't a bad result, or a particularly bad performance, but the negatives from previous home draws haven't been addressed, so those games are relevant, amd criticism of that is relevant. And it was a very good opportunity for us to stake a claim in the race for fourth, which we missed to all intents and purposes.

We need AM that can play wide and also play inside like Silva or Mata.
