It's work in progress, I'd rather see us drawing at home and keeping a clean sheet than losing to wank like we've done in recent years.

The only recurring theme I can see is you complaining after every match!

We are totally clueless when it comes to creating chances. Its got to be confidence.

Can't blame luis for being rusty, but he was missing those sitters before. that header was a gimme. he also keeps trying that cut inside that goes straight into the defenders middrift. its not like he has much pace to make it work. but he is without doubt the one player we have that can doing something from nothing.

carroll was good. looks better each game. now winning the headers he wasn't a month ago. looks lighter on his feet.

still unbeaten. just one of those weird seasons. next season we could win all home games and not any away. bizarre.
That's absolutely spot on. There were quite a few of us on here who said we'd like to see us in for Parker, and based on the season he's had so far we certainly should have been. I remember Mattshark in particular pissing all over the suggestion in his usual style. The bloke plays his heart out every game - absolutely tremendous performance from him, and he's been doing that regulary now for a couple of years.

A top class incisive winger like Hazard would make all difference.

Never mind at least we're still unbeaten at home, kept a clean sheet and well in race for 4th.

It's a recurring theme....the final ball is lacking, it's been lacking at home all season, the passage of play at he end 4 chances to put a decent cross in the box 93rd minute and not one taken, then Johnson over hits his out of play, so disappointing, another draw

Not a bad result - it was always going to be difficult when Spurs set up like they did. I'm not going to cry too much about the lack of creativity - thought we had enough genuine chances that we should won the match.

Carroll is looking better and better - actually starting to look like a footballer now. With Suarez and Gerrard back and along with Bellamy we should have enough creativity to really start hurting teams.

Edit - WTF is our 'best 11'?
Still a side looking to gel really. Good at the back midfield is ok (miss Lucas) and going forwards we're still working it out although from time to time you do see some great 5-a-side goals from us. (reminds me of Rafas 1st season really)

That holding mf (Lucas) would have helped us commit more men forwards I think as Spearing, Adam and Gerrard just aren't capable of doing that job as well.

Hazard or Goetze or ever Reus would make a big difference and we don't have a player like that atm.

I agree to be honest, the flaws in tactics, poor final ball and missing chances when they should be taken, it's not all doom and gloom though but we cannot draw anymore home games

Suarez should have deffo had a red card, that was a terrible challenge

We were the better side but we are toothless and lack any sort of guile in the attack. Any chances we don't take them.

Everyone played quite well but that game was there for us, even if Spurs are a top side IMO we should have won & really needed to win. A point will do but for me it is 2 points dropped.

We have controlled games and looked in control all season, but we have never really looked dangerous in front of goal all season.
Look how many men they got behind the ball. Something I'll agree we've in general suffered to work out for the past 20 years or so.

I think we've got the foundations right with the back and prety much midfield (need Lucas back) but the attacking side of play needs some work.

                            We will get there though

It is us going backwards from the end of last season. I am not happy because we are not progressing. I want us to be better than we are.

We had a decent team last season, when Kenny came back our performance was superb, we have gone backwards since the summer though imo.

TBH I don't know how many more times we will be given the chance to catch up with awful Chavs and we keep failing to do it.

In fairness Spurs are difficult opponent and a draw is not bad but we are running out games and plus our next stop is at OT which will be very challenging to get anything out of that match.
