They probably won't get done, but there really can't be much more evidence needed. You can hear it in the interview and surely Phil Dowd must have heard it and will make a note of it.

I agree, can't imagine it being the fans unless the interview wasn't live.

Ferguson is a ****** with his comments, but Suarez was an embarrassment, not sure I totally believe Kk didn't know he hadn't shook hands.....having said that though he should be commended for not relating to evra's celebrations

I'm just glad that's over frankly.

We didn't play well at all, but some people have gone a bit ott about it, I've seen us play worse at OT over the years. Come to think of it, they played just as badly at our place earlier this season, difference was they didn't gift us a second goal in that game and were able to jam a draw.

Spearing did look a bit out of his depth, and Downing was terrible. Enrique had a dodgy game too, but he got no support against valencia who was, imo, their best player. We've got a lot of work to do still, but I don't think we really found anything out today that we didn't know.

Oh, and everything that happened today convinced me even more that Suarez genuinely feels wronged by the whole Evra thing. Personally, despite the inevitable bad press etc, I don't blame him for not shaking the guy's hand.

For once I have to disagree with you Mr. M. I dont think some of the comments are over the top. This is not an isolated one off performance. This is recurring now.

It is understandable if one player is underperforming over a long period. But given the investment the high number of players who are underperforming consistently is staggering - Downing, Henderson, Carroll, Kuyt. And if you look at the players thread - other than Downing I have supported all of them.

I mean there maybe valid reasons for some of them but so many of them together at so frequent intervals. It points down to poor scouting or poor tactics/coaching. Or It may quite simply point to a lack of strategy in evolving this team in terms of mixing experience, youngsters, local players and foreign talent. Serious harsh questions need to be asked about our scouting in particular.

Dont get me wrong, this is not a Kenny out post. I have argued number of times that Kenny should be given the time.We got the balance horribly wrong over the summer IMO. I think the squad which ended last season would have outperformed this squad.

Maybe I am being extra sensitive as this is the time of annual review at my job and I know that if I had performed like Downing, Henderson, Kuyt - I would be out on the streets )

Awful performance, no fight or creativity , glad it is over and we can get on with our season.

Watched the game in an Irish bar in Philly and the vitriol coming from some of the supposed Utd "fans" was disgraceful, calling Suarez a faggot , and for the utd players to kick him in the face. One of them who was an actual football fan apologized for their behavior after the game.

I thought if we were going to score against them it would either be from a set piece / corner or possibly on the counter. A few times it looked like we could set up a good counter attack and Dirk slowed it down.

Also do United supporters ever sing about their own team or players? I could hear the travelling Kop but whenever I heard the scum supporters it was always about us. Small minded people.

Thats a poor Man Utd team we were up against and we showed them far too much respect. They were there for the taking and Kenny decided to play a defensive team and let them boss us. Poor all round. Spearing is way out of his depth, Enrique having a mare and Downing is utter ****e. Henderson is just anonymous.

I honestly didnt think United were that great

Their goals werent exactly brilliantly crafted goals they were both probably mistakes (particularly the second one)

Even our goal was poor defending (although from a half decent ball by Adam)

One thing that infuriated me was how often we our fullbacks give the ball away or make poor decisions when they are in dangerous positions, sometimes all it needs is clearing the ball but they try something daft and dangerous and it puts us under pressure

We so often put ourselves in trouble doing this (and this has increased recently)

Secondly some of our players centrally dwell on the ball too long (Jay got caught today)

We actually looked better when Adam came on as he at least gave is a little bite and impetus

As for the Suarez/Evra thing the whole thing is a ****ing pantomime
