I know there is no room for sentiment in football, but robbing Bellamy of the last chance he might have of winning his first major trophy in England against his hometown club would be extremely harsh. Especially considering he has been our best player this year and deserves to start on merit.
If fit, he’ll start.
Edit: I know he'll still get a medal etc. even if he doesn't start or play fopr that matter, but he'll want to be in the starting line-up.
I don't think we should make special plans for a player notching up 10/10 stats in the Championship TBH. It's not like we have a shaky defence. Neither Whittingham or Miller have faced a defence as strong as ours.
I don't want to underestimate them, but it's a matter of us taking the game to them.
If our guys are up to it (which I am 100% sure they are), then they will need to worry a lot about all our guys.
In fact I like Gerrard playing where he did against Brighton. If he plays further forward he gets more attention. In CM he can do what he wants.
They will do well to keep all of Carroll, Suarez, Bellamy, Gerrard and Adam quiet all game.
Then we have Johnson bombing forward and Skrtel looking dangerous on set-pieces.

Didn't know this would be his first major trophy, IF we win it. He should definately start.
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
I think a midfield with Gerrard, Adam and Henderson central and Bellamy on the left would be a bit unstructured. I think Cardiff will be more streetwise than Brighton.

I would agree, I also don't believe they'll allow us the space that Brighton allowed us.
I think KK will start Downing on the left, he played well on Sunday and with Carroll looking better every game why change it. Bellamy would be a great sub to have when needs dictate a change in the second half.
