If you swing a right out of Wembley park there is a sports bar, a couple of pubs left out of the station but I am not sure if they show the football

Walking from Wembley central to the stadium I think the Bear might show it

Nice one, cheers mate I think we'll be using Wembley Park. Best one, innit?

I'd recommend watching it somewhere other than Wembley, go a couple of stops on the tube and watch it on Finchley Road or around Kilburn. North Star on Finchley Road/Swiss Cottage is a decent shout or the Walkabout beside Finchley Road station if you can bare it. In Kilburn you could go to The Brondesage although keep your wits about you in there.

Wembley Park is the way I have always gone, we come into Waterloo then change at Baker St for the Met or Jubilee

The Cardiff fans getting the train will come into Paddington so they will be pushed toward Wembley central

Chrono is right though anywhere around the stadium will be mad busy

I know what Chrono is saying but if you get there for around midday, you'll be alright - that's my train of thought anyway. As i said, i dont wanna be in the situation where we're needing to get on the tube at any point from 3pm onwards, or even 2:30pm. Apart from to go home, that is

chazza - do you live near wembley/know it well/been before?

what's it like for parking/access/getting away from the ground etc -

ie, are we going to be stuck in traffic for 3 hours trying to get away - or is it fairly well thought out and smooth running and we will be back on the motorway at a reasonable hour?
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Craig, did you get any luck with my ticket in the end? I've not heard back and am getting a little worried.
                  Oh I don't know.

Depending on how you are feeling you could always park around Neasden or Dollis Hill and walk/take a bus. It should take about 40 mins to walk from Neasden. Hang a Jamaican flag from the windscreen for safety

                        fair enough -

                        my memories of wembley are...

1988 - Fa Cup and Charity shields against wimbledon - i was 6/7 - i just remember being very tired, felt like i had to walk for miles and miles - i cried when we lost the fa cup, but was made up with the charity shield win, at that age it was the same thing to me......plus at the charity shield, we were sat by the steps and I got to touch John Barnes and a few others on their way to get the medals

and - i jumped on the bandwagon, for i think it was the last final at the old wembley? - Tranmere vs Leicester in Worthington cup - 2000 -

this time i was 18, went down with loads of mates on a coach - my memories are very hazy - cause we got bladdered....i just remember leaving for wembley very early in the morning - the traffic being chaos near the ground - and i don't remember leaving after the match or getting home

i was hoping - being new....the traffic/parking links were good - so we could be away early, and I'd make it back home in time for a few pints at my local (having a lock in )

I've never been to the new Wembley but i can safely say you wont be getting away 'quickly'

I went to that Charity Shield game. My only time seeing LFC at Wembley.
