Look at the performances under the two.

Tell me, is that 'equal' too?

We've made dozens of chances this year, many of which RVP would have taken.

Look at it the other way around - would any of our strikers have scored RVP's winner? No.
Yeah he may have, we still don't create good chances for our forwards often enough though, no matter what excuses we make though we didn't make a chance like that for Suarez and we don't make enough good chances in general, we do make a lot of difficult chances that we don't quite convert. Our midfield is lacks real creativity.

How many 1v1's do we make?
How often does Suarez have to make his own chances?

We are far from good enough attacking in midfield.

Amusingly the best chance we made was for Henderson who did actually waste it.
We did create 3 clear cut chances in the first half out of great passing and Henderson was at the centre of some of these chances. Come on man, don't be so negative. Yes we lack in the midfield/attacking third but it's nowhere as bad as that. We've battered most teams in terms of dominating, creating chances this season but the lack of results point to the fact that we haven't scored enough, not that we lack creativity. I'd say that we're creating an awful lot but can't ****ing score.
              Are we winning?

Van Persie is what a £35M player looks like and he's the sort of striker a team with League ambitions is supposed to have. Carroll is not to blame for today but it says it all when your most expensive player ever is only thrown pointlessly on at the death to salvage a draw from a must win game.

And I ****in detest the sight of us chasing a game in the last few minutes without having the ball - what the **** sort of midfield lets this happen?

I believe in Henderson btw. He'll be excellent.
                Spot on.

Silly to criticise Kenny for that 1 week after winning the 1st trophy in 6 years. Some of you clowns need to take a good look at yourselves.

Agreed. It's money that talks, not particularly the CL. But being in the CL means you have more money, we're not money bags City or Chelsea.

For the same problems we have had all season in a under par league performance? Nope, it is fair criticism of both his transfers and subs and the quality of our team.

i think that's very naive. you might get one or two, but not the kind of amount we need. we already have suarez, exactly who else do you think is going to bin cl football to join us if we finish 7th again?
It costs money but if we show ambition to spend it then we'll get those players as the club has fantastic traditions and has a high profile. We're amongst the Barca's and the Real's in terms of reputation, even without a CL spot.

Look at City, they're competing for the league without doing much in the CL. They still were competitive in the league without having set foot in the CL. It's not naive in the slightest.
                                Are we winning?
