The good goalkeeping I can handle

Its when you are failing to work the keeper and chances that a decent striker would ****ing bury

I've looked at numerous chances missed by Suarez, Carroll & Kuyt and others this season and very rarely have I shown any sympathy for them

Decent forwards would have buried those chances

Does anyone genuinely think Rush or Fowler wouldnt have over 12 league goals so far this season

Hell I reckon they'd finish with close to 20 league goals bearing in mind the chances that Carroll & Suarez have wasted

finishing is the problem, using the measures that are out there and used by the PL to calculate what a chance is we create plenty of chances and do not finish nearly enough of them.

Of course everyone has a subjective view of what IS a chance but what is used as the measure of chances in games is really all we can go on, that shows we create lots of chances and score **** all of them.

FACT - we've spent millions on mediocre players

I've asked this before and havent gotten an answer but I cant remember the last goal we scored from a shot that was outside the box - any ideas?

Gerrard use to weigh in with half a dozen of those in a season, I dont see that from anyone in our current side and that puts more emphasis on finishing chances inside the box (which we are again failing miserably at)
