Brentford want to extend the Sergi Canos loan.
New boss says -
He said: “I want him to stay for the rest of the season. I think he's enjoying it here. He'd love to stay so it's about us talking to Liverpool and get things done.
“I'm good friends with Alex Inglethorpe who is the academy director at Liverpool. I'll be in touch with him.”
Canos' enthusiasm has caught the eye and the 18-year-old was clearly out to prove a point after being rested against Cardiff in midweek.
He added: “He's been really bright. I didn't play him at Cardiff as I didn't think the pitch would be good for him.
“He looked fresh today. He's an 18-year-old kid and he doesn't want to be rested but he gave me a great response with his goal and performance.
“He doesn't look like a typical Spanish wide player. He likes the physical side of the game. He's a ball carrier but he's got tricks as well. He's enjoying it here.”

Not really, fans love the tricks and selfishness when it comes off. Ojo never struck me as a player that was good enough so not surprised by that view.

And then people complain when youngsters play it safe and pass backwards or lay it off all the time...Originally posted by Montana View PostI went to the Wolves game last night and Ojo wasn't even on the bench. Was chatting to some fans and they're not very impressed with him. They say he's a bit selfish, very inconsistent and tries too many tricks.
It'll be difficult for him to get back in now as local lad Jordan Graham has broken through on the left wing and he looks pretty good. One to watch.

Keeper was more the **** bag imo, he was so fav to get to that ball first, a little bit of commitment and he'd could have easily dealt with it.

What are you basing that on?Originally posted by BigChief View PostGood pace shown. We could do with him back. Better than Firmino at worst.
Markovic is a runner, not a footballer. His goal above is comical, the fact that he was a fanny and pulled out of a challenge for the ball confused the keeper and made him **** up, laying it on a plate
