don't know why they sent him out on loan in the first place. He's highly rated, we're threadbare in midfield with permacrocks, geriatrics and an absolutely knackered Fabinho trying to hold it all together.....so we send our most promising mid out on loan and then have to scramble to sign another permacrock on loan on the last day of the window.

The decisions made this offseason are criminal.

I thought he was good when needed. Played class at Milan in the champions league. His development probably was the first thing when thought of to send him on loan. Also, perhaps the long term plan was to go to a 4231 anyway and the thought was that there would be even less opportunity.

Right now though, id recall him in November

He seems to be doing really well there but I find it difficult to judge players quality in the SPL. I assumed that given his age and a loan move to Scotland that there is little chance of him coming back and doing anything here, seems like a loan move with a view to getting him a permanent move and us a fee next summer like we did with Ryan Kent, am I wrong?

Yeah I can’t see him coming back & being content playing in the youth league again.

We know he's not good enough. There's been a spate of loaned out players recalled lately - not sure what that's about. Are we short of players for the stiffs?

I saw something today about Nat Phillips leaving, which is why Williams has come back. From the outside looking in, our activity at present looks bewildering. Can't understand much of it.
