Flannigan should be next, it will help his development.

does this mean baby jay has improved, or the rest of bolton are ****eOriginally posted by Baracus View PostI have a friend who is a season ticket holder at Bolton
Says Spearing has been their standout player of the season so far. They would love to make it permanent but don't think they can afford it

heard McCarthy mentioned a few times. is he better than allen.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostWould love to see Coates go to Wigan...... Good team, play good football
Would also help if we wanted to sign McCarthy in the summer
i mean the allen who we signed, not the one we have now

Didn't realise Wilson was on loan at Bristol City until I read an artice last week.
This artice was still tipping him for greatness, yet in 5 games there he's played 1 minute, the rest spent on the bench.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

pinched from the shelvey thread...

Take Cleverley at Man U for example, he's 23 and had played 75 games across 3 loan spells before coming back to Utd where he has played about 20 games.
All those games for Man U are as a 23 year old.
Shelvey has played 40/50 for us by the age of 20. 20.
In my opinion Shelvey can play anywhere across the midfield 5 in a 4-2-3-1.
He has the passing and physicality to sit, he has the technical ability to play anywhere in the higher '3'.
Is he good enough to right now? no.
Is Suso? No
Is Sterling? No
Is Borini? No
We're asking kids to play and perform regularly as if they are seasoned PL players and internationals.
What also doesn't help Shelvey is I bet he has played in 4/5 different positions for us this season, how is he supposed to nail down a role, understand the responsibilities and positional expectations of it if he is getting picked all over the shop?
great post, mate...
we really do ourselves no favours by playing these young lads rather tan loaning them out so they can get regular competitive games without it having a detrimental effect on our results.
look at how ngoo is flourishing. he is on fire. he will becoming a better, more confident player after this loan spell. whether that means he comes back to us or increases his sell on fee we are still winning.removing all the weak links makes us stronger

we need to get suso and shelvey out on loan this coming year. this will hopefully push them further than the reserves and odd first team games is doing, as they look fairly poor when they step in for the odd little occasional cameo.
anyone else benefit from some time away.
it could be to make them get more game time, strengthen them physically, or maybe even just to keep someone in the shop window if they were someone we didnt really want.removing all the weak links makes us stronger

i'd look to get the following out on good loans
flanagan
robinson
suso
shelvey
Coates, he could be loaned, however if we get a decent bid in for him i'd take the money - if not then defo loan
Sterling, personally i'd keep him (depending on who/what we sign in the window) - i think he gives us a slightly different option to what we currently have in the squad and has shown enough to keep him involved. Unless we go out and sign a top class winger, then sterling will still get games next season - where as all the others i've mentioned i don't think will.
oh and i'd say the same for wisdom as well.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
