Someone inside the AFC told me there was a falling out, but wouldn’t be drawn on with who. According to my youngest, he seemed happy enough when out and about in Aberdeen tho.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostHe never struck a ball in anger for them.
Made the bench, but even then only the extended Euro bench. Not one for his CV. He is heading down the Ben Woodburn path for sure.We are here for a good time not a long time....

It ties in with some chat on social media about him acting like a big shot around the clubOriginally posted by Cerbie View PostSomeone inside the AFC told me there was a falling out, but wouldn’t be drawn on with who. The little I’ve seen of him I’ve been impressed. Mrozic ( sp ) played in goals last time I watched then in the European cup thing they are in.Originally posted by RedReet View PostPitaluga off on loan to St. Pat's Athletic after signing a new contract.
Didn't see that one coming.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Nobody else we've loaned out seems to be getting on for better teams, so he should get some first team football at least.Originally posted by Deano View PostToughen him up in he lower leagues, Ale House Footie
He'll also be able to put some of the lads up in his house to celebrate after winning Europa League.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

We have ties with St Pats when it comes to goalkeepers being loaned to them.Originally posted by RedReet View PostPitaluga off on loan to St. Pat's Athletic after signing a new contract.

Jaros was there on loan as well. The guys we send there get game time and LOI can be a busy league for keepers.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Aye, I thought it was a first until I heard Jaros mentioned.Originally posted by Doc_Piptorious View PostWe have ties with St Pats when it comes to goalkeepers being loaned to them.

Was gonna sarcastically joke about that working out well, but when checking where he is now I noticed Jaros won POTY and picked up a cup with St Pat's, so I'm sure he'll say he enjoyed his time there. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He was excellent in his time there. I go to LOI games on a regular basis (season ticket holder at Turner Park to watch the mighty mighty Cork City FC
) and he was an absolute wall in goal for Pats.
Speaking of Pats, mentioned it some time back but we are linked to their right back too. Sam Curtis. Cracking player that has been a stand out player against grown men for some time now and still in his teens. Bit of a touch of a right sided Andy Robertson to how he plays and in how spikey he can be.
Melia at Pats looks good too but still 15 or 16 years of age.
Kone Doherty who we got from Derry FC was another that was standing out over here.
Ogbene at Luton was another that played both here in Cork and up the road in Limerick and looked a real talent. Still does to be fair though is 26 now.
Cathal Heffernan was another that was very good here in Cork but Newcastle snapped him up. Still a teen but plays beyond his years. Newcastle have gotten a few young talents from the LOI in recent seasons.
What seems to be happening with a lot of the young talent now in the LOI is that Serie A clubs are nipping in to get players on trials or to sign outright ahead of the PL and Championship teams. Regular thing now to have scouts from Serie A clubs at the games here.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
