Brilliant, brilliant performance. We'd have beaten any team playing like that. The link up play between Carroll, Suarez and Gerrard was fantastic. Best game Carroll has played for us I think... looked like a proper player. Some lovely passes. Stevie provided some cracking finishes, but what about the build up play from Luis. They couldn't stop him. I thought he was MOM tbh but you cant take it away from Stevie. Magnificent.

More like it from Downing too. Some great crossing, more of that, lad.

We should stick with that team for the rest of the season. Kelly has done nothing wrong tonight and his overlapping was good. When Agger comes back I would have him back in, maybe Dirk on for Henderson on occasion.

Let's aim to win all our games for two months and see where it leaves us.

Stoke could be in for a right tonking, but it's Kenny's job to keep that spirit and tempo going.

Great performance last night, controlled the first 20-25 min totally before Everton clawed themselves back in untill Gerrard's first goal. What a finish with his left leg, so cool, he is by far our best finisher!

Second half dominated Everton and deservedly got 2 more goals.

Overall a very good performance, can hardly single anyone out bar Gerrard because they were all brilliant. Skrtel, Carra and Pepe had little to do, and that's largely down to the midfield and Kelly/Enrique - and the attack really work hard as well! **** it they were all great on the defense!

What else needs to be said? Keep Carroll, Suarez and Gerrard together they had some great movement and understanding last night. Downing looked good because he got some more space, and Henderson worked himself well in to the game. He is going to be a great midfielder in a couple of years.

Great Derby win, fantastic feeling and let's take this form in to the next 3 games and get a form going As Kenny rightly pointed out in the post match, this is how we played vs Arsenal and in most games this season, we just need to get the results and perhaps this is a start?

Played well, still doesn't look like either Suarez or Carroll will score regularly for us.

People have talked about not creating clear chances for Suarez & Carroll but Gerrard showed what is required when given any chances in and around the box

Suarez needs a goalscorer to feed off his work. He'll score but he does create loads of chances and sometimes all he needs a little bit of awareness. Last night's second goal wasn't an intended assist. Gerrard took the ball off him as he had his head down. We need a player who'll do that consistently.
