Thanjk you.

That was vintage Gerrard, bombing into the box without worrying what's behind him. We need Lucas back and bring in another quality midfielder to allow Jim carry on doing that. Suarez was causing mayhem, he can do that every game without scoring but is like to see a striker brought un to work off him.
What were we on? Movement was sharp and passing was much better.
Gerrard's influence in terms of running late into the box and making excellent runs cannot be underestimated.
It's what we've been missing, especially since Meireles left. Suarez was much sharper and really looked in the mood as did Enrique and Kelly.
Carroll did alright too. Did more than usual which is positive. Downing, well, I just don't know.
I think it mostly boils down to having a defensive player like spearing giving Gerrard the freedom to push on. Adam should only play when Gerrard is unavailable and should also be in front of a DM.

1) I can't remember such a one sided derby match, Everton were truly awful.
2) We've been crying out for a midfielder to join in with Suarez and Carroll all season, Gerrard did so and got his just rewards (i hope Adam and Henderson took note)
3) Skrtel was a rock
4) Carroll for all his good work still doesn't look like he's going to score any goals.
5) Last night's match in some ways pisses me off, it just proves our team/squad is made up of big time Charlie's, they step up for the glamour fixtures otherwise have a care free attitude.

He put in 2 really good crosses (one blinding cross wihich kelly missed from a yard out) and his runs freed a lot of spce for enrique to move into. same old same old though with enrique too slow to release the ball to him sooner on a couple of occasions.
not a great game but hardly a poor game last night.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

That was an absolute peach of a cross, and why our strikers arent making the kind of run that Kelly did, i dont know.
We started well and then Everton had a period in the first half where I thought they were marginally the better side, feeding the ball through Pienaar down the left. As soon as we scored though, it was game over, and we were an entirely different team to watch. Slick passing, confident play etc.
Two observations:
a) SG coming into the box = goals. He should never play any other position than in behind the strikers. Lucas and Speo allow him to get forward. Adam's ****ness doesn't.
b) We are still a rather mentally fragile outfit. Until we score, we're not really that confident in our play.

That has more to do with 3 defeats in a row, rather than us being mentally fragile.

I didn't know what to make of his performance, that's what I meant.
