Well that has more to do with our inability to score goals than us being mentally fragile.

In short, we're not ****ing mentally fragile

I can't really grumble about anything from last night. Other than that we should've probably had five or six.

Gerrard is just incredible. But we knew that anyway.

Damn right we're not! Spearing is mentally solid imo.

Mental fragility was responsible for our 3 defeats.
          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

            Great Victory

I am trying to think of something bad to say. But there really is not and if there is, best left until the next time we draw or get beat

I think that fragility has been there for some time now regardless of the recent defeats. We are not a team that tends to come back from being a goal or goals behind very often.

That's down to the fact that we dont score enough goals and the fact that the players are fully aware of it.

Gerrard absolutely has to play just off the front 2 from here on in if we are to have any chance of stringing some wins together.

He's wasted in that deep role.

and they'd got all mentally fragile about it

What i was saying (not very well ) is that i dont think we're generally 'mentally fragile' but recent circumstances have ****ed with their heads a little.

Much, much better! Why can't we play like that more often? It's like, we brought in these 'premiership proven' players who have the mentality to go to places like Stoke on a cold, rainy night and get a result, and we just can't seem to do it. Bring on a top 4 side and we're a totally different team. Why?

Great win, love how some fans still can only just bring themselves to offer faint priase to Carroll and Downing as well as go overboard on Gerrard, Suarez and Kelly all of whom were excellent.
Carroll was fantastic, he was mobile, strong, won a lot in the air, held the ball up better, much more composed and confident and there are signs of him and Suarez gelling together as a partnership. Plus he was excellent defensively against the Everton set pieces.
Kelly was immense, he was poor v Arsenal but it shows that young players can and will be inconsistant.
Carra played really well, I still personally think he is finished as a regular player and Coates should be 3rd choice now espeically with Europe in the bag but he was made for derby games.
Downing played well, attacked Hibbert, tracked back and as he always does he put in 2 or 3 fantastic crosses.
All this 0 assits bollocks that fans use aginst him is blinkered ignorant ****e, it's not his fault that week after week our players miss from 6 yards like Kelly did last night.

Another false dawn? who knows, on paper we could and should win our remaining 10 games
