removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Aldo doesn't rate Hendo. Then again he didn't rate Lucas a while back either.

lets be fair, there were plenty of times when people would have questioned what lucas was doing in a red shirt. it took him some time to grow into the battler he has become. there were many times he was being carried/was one of the weaker links, but he has come through that.
hendo, on the other hand, looks out of his depth. true, he may come good, and is young enough to have time on his side, but the fee paid would suggest the management saw him as a ready to go first team regular. i know this lads performances split opinions on here, but in my eyes, i dont yet see any reason for him being a first team starter just yet.

              Very sensible post.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that Hendo looks out of his depth. He's certainly nowhere near his potential admittedly, but I guess that comes with games and experience. It's kind of a catch 22 for managers in that regard - to get him to the level you want, do you have to play him even though he's not at the 'required' level? If you leave him on the bench, does his progress stagnate?

Eh? Hitting the bar twice I think, Kelly missing a sitter, missing peno! Eh? Eh?

You are confusing the shot being close with the chance being as easy. Gerrard was free 6 yards out with the goal directly in front of him twice.
I specifically mentioned the pen. I already said about Suarez's post hit. Kuyt post hit was certainly not as easy and Kelly's was certainly not as easy, and to say it is when the ball is travelling that fast is just plain silly.

And yes it probably does confuse you.

I'm a defender. I'm of average football ability in comparison to most. I would have scored the Kelly chance v Arsenal. But so would he, 9 times out of 10. He just ****ed up. But that's football. Or should I say, that's this season.
                        Forwards.......

I think you're over analysing things. Incredibly. We lack efficiency because the top 4 teams score goals out of lesser clear cut chances. Meaning they're clinical. We're not. End of.

                              This is the point

United won 3-0 the other week and two of the goals that Young scored were more difficult than ANY of the chances our players squandered against Arsenal and others

Jelavic scored a goal for Everton last week against Spurs that I wouldnt have fancied any of our forwards to finish

Gerrard showed a masterclass in finishing and frankly I wouldnt have fancied any of our other players to take those chances that he did

Our finishing (other than Gerrard) has been ****ing dire this season

I wasn't that easy at all, it came very quickly at him with a limited amount of angle to aim at, how is that easier than Gerrard's 2nd and 3rd goal?

Or you want to look at things in an over simplistic manner. And just saying end of doesn't mean your right, it just means you are not willing to look at anything in another way.
