Carroll frustrates me when he links up with Suarez, then makes no effort to get up and support.

Need to pick up the pace as a team in the second half.

Downing has been cutting in past Walters with ease.. Its his lack of quality thereafter that's been the problem.

look ive nothing aginst maxi but.the right side is.compromised to accomodate maxi and neither flanks are producing anything.

if anything just switch maxi and downing for better balance, the right footer on the right and the left footer on the left. its not.rocket.science.

It's beyond belief that he is so inefficent in 1-2 passing and then failing to go forward to support that play.

I don't understand the decision to play Maxi left and Downing right side. Downing is better on the left than the right, it also seems that Kenny sees Downing ahead of Maxi in the pecking order (given Downing plays almost every week and Maxi never plays), that being the case why switch Downing to accomodate Maxi?

Kelly cannot give us anything offensively which is why we miss GJ so badly.

Yup, Carroll let him go. Really soft goal.

As for Kelly, it's his first touch that seems to be missing today. It's also not helping him that Downing is checking his runs and not really provided an outlet when we're attacking.

I don't think he's good offensively in general.

He has no trickery in his arsenal (never ever he cuts inside) and he struggles to take a man.

His input is pretty much running down the flank and crossing if he can but his crosses are not that good (almost always on the near post).
