For those wanting Rafa back - I'm sure FSG would love to bring back a former Liverpool manager who brought us success in the very recent past and the fans love - What could possibly go wrong ??

I didn't agree until tonight, but yeah. We need to be doing better in the league, AND winning cups.

of course we do. everybody knows this. there won't be anyone at the club happy with our league position.

when you look back in a few years, what will you remember, just finishing outside the top 4 or a couple of cups? the league is ****ed. we're stuck with these same set of players until May. just have to make the most of it and try and win another trophy. then have a good look at what went wrong in the summer. as it stands with spurs dropping like ****, we've got more out of the season than them potentially.

We are no better than we were under Roy. I still dont ever expect us to win, and usually expect us to lose, regardless of opposition. Kenny is a LFC legend, but ****ing clueless as a modern day manager. He needs to do the honorable thing and retire at the end of the season

Results are not as good but the play is better

Its in front of goal, in all the time I've watched LFC (over 35 years) I've never seen a side as wasteful as this

I've seen sides that dont create chances, cant defend, are tactically clueless, are boring to watch/ too cautious but I've NEVER seen a side as profligate as this

theres no real pattern of play.

we dont have a clear vision of what to do with the ball. We try and play like barcelona but we cant hold onto the ball and our players like suarez and kuyt cant actually play one touch two touch football. Enrique is a donkey who can run quickly but his touch is shocking. You could say the same of kuyt, suarez and carroll all of whom are technically poor. You cant play that sort of touch football with such inferior players.

even under hodgson we had a clear albeit twisted and outdated idea about how to go about our game. Under kenny the players constantly get in each others way. Theres no real urgency to stretch the game and get the fullbacks pushing on. Players move all over the place, leaving huge gaps for the opposition to exploit.

I want rafa back. like kenneth i agree the cups are worthless. I want to be in the champions league playing the best teams in the world. Rafa could do it.

I don't get the Carroll treatment. He was looking like having to pick him was forcing him into form, then Suarez becomes available again, and Carroll is out again.

I'm no big fan of Carroll, but the progress was there to see and was apparent that a run of games might just be having an effect. Babel was never afforded that, are we doing the same to another young forward?

Words fail me after that. Once they got one, you could just tell we were going to fold. It's been happening for years. I really wouldn't be bothered now if every single one of them was turfed out of the club in the summer. If Kenny has any sense he'll dock them all a weeks wages, and field the reserves next Saturday. Disgrace to LFC the lot of them. Fed up of the ongoing experiment that is Henderson and Downing. Downing wasn't bad tonight but Henderson and Adam need to play in the reserves to toughen them up. What the **** were Henderson, Carragher and Skrtel doing for the first two goals??? Are we so ****ing good at 2-0 that we don't even have to leave the ground now for crosses?? Not one of them even jumped! Pathetic. As for Enrique's mistake, well... words fail me.

At 2-2 when I was screaming at them to go for it, they are passing the ball around the back like they are the most clueless team in the league.

I'm sick of this **** now, season after season. I've got to the point where something has to give, whether that's the manager or half the players... just something. This rebuilding is not happening with the quality of players and tactics and lack of any prospects coming through at our club.

If the summer is stagnant then we are in for a real shock next season. Or maybe we are so used to mediocrity now that it won't be. Rant over.

The third was a good finish in a 1 on 1,the kind we've missed a lot of,including Suarez today early on.

The other two were free headers 6 yards out.Poor defending.

I think it's important to make a distinction - we create lots of pressure and have lots of attacks that break down at the edge of the 18 yard box, but we don't create buckets of clear cut chances on a regular basis.

this is the worst bit for me... sorry lads but i dont think suarez is the answer upfront. he is very poor technically and he misses too many chances. he hogs the ball and he cant hold it up for ****.

I've said the same, I think hes really skillfull but his finishing is ****ing dire and hes too selfish for me
