I don't understand why we don't have a pop at goal from just outside the area more often.

Enrique and Downing had a few opportunities to do this but they think they need to slide rule it to a player 6 yards from goal. Lampard has scored a hatful by having a pop and getting deflections.

Yeah, but they were brought to the club over a period of years. As for other players, well the fact is they didn't join, whether it was truth we were in for them, whether they wouldn't sign, whether its all bull**** or whether the owners from the first set of yanks, to the current to Moores.

We need to spend a fortune on about 3 world class attackers and a defender in my view in one transfer window. Otherwise its going to be a dim future for us.

shelvey should have come on for adam. if jay needed swapping due to fatigue then flano could have covered RB and coates stepped up to DM. he is well cabable.
need more kids on the bench. aurelio just isnt going to get a game, so thats a waste of a seat, imho. some little fast ****er to whizz around and worry their back line for the last 10 minutes. not carroll...
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

I was delighted when Kenny was appointed but also shared the same fears as many, and they were... was Kenny able to adapt to the modern game? From what i have seen tactically we look absolutely all over the place. It's genuinely weird. There is no system and cohension there.

We scraped the Carling Cup and we've been clinging onto that and the FA Cup run for dear life. I'm just being realistic Lec & we have some serious problems that need to be addressed in the summer.

I don't like talking about any other managers at the moment, we'll see how things end up come end of season but even Kenny can't sustain this, i think it's faire to say that most other managers would have been gone by now.
Some of the signings have been awful, some are ok, some are squad players

The lack of passion has been prevailent for years against **** teams it was the same under Rafa, Roy, Houllier etc.. its always been a problem we can get up for games against big teams yet fold when we play lesser teams

I disagree regarding the brand of football I think its ok

The tactics side of things can be worked on (thats supposedly Clarkes & Keens remit isnt it) but Ferguson's tactics often look wayward yet his sides have so much ****ing firepower they invariably blow away the ****e by just standing toe to toe with them. For me there is a trade off between tactics and attacking play Rafa was a master tactician but at times we were very sterile under him and we lacked imagination at times - we had half decent finishers mind

Look how badly Fergie got raped by bilbao to show his deficiencies

Results its hard to argue with they have been poor

this is it for me as well, im not sure if hes stubborn or just past it, out of the game too long.
we as fans see things on the pitch that you would assume the manager sees but it seems he doesnt.
buying the players he bought to begin with was a massive mistake, the fans could see that carroll, downing and henderson were not what we needed.
then persisting with them when things are obviously not working, all of us could tell that adam, even when playing half decent was jaded after 60 minutes yet the manager persisted.
its these things that worry me about him, things i dont see improving.

I don't know Dan. Until lately,we have been very well orgainsed and to be fair we have battered teams without scoring enough. In my view, we just lasck good enough footballers, game changers. Now whether Kenny has screwed up in buying over last summer or not, its hard to tell, simply because the difference this summer rather than previous years was that we didn't have to sell before we bought. We still only had a net spend of 40m and thats not near enough to get us where we want to be.

agreed. I'd have sterling on there as an impact player. he'd kill any defender for pace with 15 left.

                            Hi Everybody......

I not gutted or deflated like the majority here. Lec has hinted on it plenty of times...

Does anyone actually think we will score when we get a chance?

Before every game I think where are the goals gonna come from? I dunno

And Since Agger/Lucas have been injured? Can we stop anyone from Scoring? No

That Sums up our season and has been mentioned before Kenny does not have a transfer window to change things and must make do with what he has got.

IMO we play predictable & lethargic football, our general tempo is pedestrian & our movement is poor. We have too many players that slow things down and are afraid to take responsibility... so they leave it to others do make things happen.

To be honest i don't really care about other teams mate.

Sterling would be worth his weight in gold on the bench atm.
