yes, I think the ideal situation is that Kenny wins the Fa cup and steps down at the end of the season. His legacy would intact and this stint would be viewed by history as bringing stability to the club when it needed and being successful with cups in the bag.

I just want the last 10 games or so to be about introducing the young players in the squad and give the last 2-3 chances for other players to show they really want to play for this club and work hard for it. I can go along with this, if they stick to it and blood the youngsters. But I'm afraid we are too scared to do it, we might still finish 12th and it's more likely than us finish 5th IMO.

Any potential player coming here will view the cup/s as one thing, but they'll also want to see league progression and if we're too far off the pace, they could write the cups off as a one off.

That's the danger and I don't think some people realise this. We have to show a level of consistency and 8th is on the edge of that. Even then, the points tally might not be favourable.

I could live with 6th and both cups, but any lower is terrible so I agree. But we are not really going to finish any higher than where we are IMO, the team is poor and would be overachieving by finishing 5th tbf.
