Looking at the history books, the club hasn't finished any lower than 8th place since returning to the top flight in the 62/63 season. That's an incredible statistic that speaks volumes for the resilience of the club. In that time, the club has only finished 8th twice. The first time was in 62/63 (understandable). The second was 93/94, the season that Souness was sacked.

I've voted for and really hope for no lower than 7th, for the simple reason that I would hate to see Kenny suffer the indignity of being added to the history books as having overseen one of the worst, if not the worst, league campaigns in 50 years. It's all quite depressing to think about.

I dont actually care any more. Some of the players clearly dont. We have qualified for Europe either way.I would like to think they would give 100% every game, but thats not the case. Personally, I would clear every one of the recent signings out, except perhaps Enrique, and Bellamy.

My sympathies are with Dalglish for some of the gutless displays by certain players. I think he should get another season, as I still believe in the football he likes to play, and I dont see another manager who can do the job without spending silly money.

Perhaps it was a mistake to play full teams in the cup, as the success there has hampered our league form, which to me is paramount if we have any long term ambitions. Unfortunately there is no way we will finish top 4 now, and I would prefer to see Dalilish give chances to some of the younger players, in an effort to develop them for next year and beyond.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

thats the thing Henderson is not good enough to start at the moment but will be good in the long run.....So presume thats why he is doing it. But how can Carra be in front of Coates? who does that benefit? ridiculous decision.

**** them all off, play the kids.....they did allright for us last year when we were desperate
