It doesn't makes sense to me either, and perhaps I'm misreading the situation, but there does seem to be a few people who are much too quick with their 'I told you so' comments after a bad result.

Personally I'm gutted when we lose, it completely ruins my weekend. I want us to win whoever is in charge (even when it was Hodgson).

Kenny wont be our manager for the start of next season, of that i'm sure.

It's sickening really. People would rather be 'proved right' than see the team they're meant to support, succeed. Unbelievable.

I dont think anyone is taking pleasure in whats happening. I would love nothing more than Kenny to be the right man and never retire like whiskey nose. Unfortunately, he isnt. Its gutting but its the truth.

I think most of us feel the way you do and I, like you, take losses incredibly hard.

Our movement was awful today. Our midfielders got in each other's way. We rarely had anyone out wide in space and Carroll was once again stranded most of the time. When we had possession we moved the ball around so slowly Newcastle could just trot back behind the ball and wait until we messed up a pass. No pace, no urgency.
I'm trying to cling onto the good performances we've produced this season but at the moment it's hard to remember them. That said - if we had an in form goal scoring striker in our team - our season would've been so different.

Has been for about 3 seasons. Statues springs to mind!

International football just isn't the same, I don't really have a team to support. I don't give a **** about England, I just watch their games for a laugh

Even picking a team to support isn't the same, it doesn't matter if they lose and there's no great joy if they win.

He is the only manager who could convince world class players to join a team not in the champions league.
we will have trouble convincing anyone to join us in the summer.

hes the only man for the job, at least try and tempt him, dont be like the defeatists on here and just assume were beneath him.

Missed the game today due to family commitments. I assume it was just more of the same garbage from us? Is this rock bottom? It sure feels like it.
