Inexplicable. Needs to have a serious ****ing word with himself. Could have been a very different game he'd put that in. Why didn't he just put it in, the ****ing clown

Newcastle have played a better 11 players than our 11 players. They won, so what. We have a mid table team. Wake the **** up.

Its even worse than that though, they had better shape and tactics. Heart and desire to boot.

jeez craig the decisions were poor but we were far worse. the players'/kenny's ineptitude was far more result defining than anything the officials did today.

But you can see that decisions affect games? A penalty and Newcastle down to ten changes the whole shape of the game and we I'm fairly confident we wouldn't be talking about Kenny's ineptitude.

The biggest areas of concern for me, are:

1/ How quickly we crumbled and how our game plan disappeared when we went one goal down, which highlights a real weak mental frame of mind amongst out squad.

2/ How long it took Kenny to address our non-second half performance and make changes that were so obviously needed.

WTF Craig. The decision didn't go our way - that's ****ing football. We still had plenty of time to stamp our authority on the game and come away with the win. Blaming the defeat on a bad decision, when we were ****e the rest of the game, is a very mid table attitude.

We we-re 2-0 up at QPR with 10 minutes to go and lost. We have won 2 games all season and thrown away countless leads. What makes you so sure we would have held on this time?

Nah sorry, it doesnt matter that they benefitted from the rules not being enforced. It's our fault, not the ref or linesman's.....

They could have kicked our players in the head & got away with it - and it still wouldnt have mattered.

I don't understand that arguement (I know you are paraphrasing others). Whether people think the decisions altered the outcome of the game or not is somewhat irrelavent when assessing the performance of the officials - they were awful today IMO and our poor performance should not let them off the hook. If the officials gave those decisions in a Man Utd game they would find themselves officiating in the lower leagues.

Mourinho is a very short termist approach though and he needs to leave problems at clubs when his short reign ends and he compounds that with deliberately disrupting his successors.

If's and buts though Craig - the pen wasn't given wrongly obviously, but we need to be winning games without relying on the officials getting things right like that.

We're just simply not getting the results and the whole sorry lot of them need to get their heads down and work at changing things around

That seems weird to me though mate. That's like if you score a perfectly good goal and it gets ruled out - and then you get another, and he rules it out. Then their player hacks you in the box, the ref doesnt give it. Then they score an offside goal but it gets given.

You can say 'we just need to win and not rely on refs' but if the officials **** you over enough and have that much of an influence, you cant legislate for it - you just CANT 'just ignore it and win' because their ineptitude is preventing you from 'just' winning.
