We might sneak away a famous point.

At least one of them should have been playing in place of Carragher

As soon as I see his name on the team sheet I immediately think we will lose

of course not, it wasn't serious obviously.
i'm really losing faith though, i don't quite believe he's able to turn it around. i do ****ing hope though that i'm wrong, i really do.

Anyone hoping for a change is having a laugh unless theres been an injury. This is Kenny, nothing will have changed and he might make a sub about 77 minutes in or perhaps even 89 mins.

Doni should have dealt with the cross better, Skrtel should pressed Bannan better, Hendo and/or Jonjo should have been back to help back 4 as Herd bypassed them to get to the box etc.

To me it was collective failure.

After spending a full season trying to get a team to play pass and move football you don't all of a sudden go big Sam and decide to play hoof ball.

If I'm manager I bring on Maxi and Bellamy, two players that suit the way Luis plays with pace and flair, and encourage them to play with each other. Move Gerrard back and take Henderson off.

Also bring Agger on for Carra.

i'll try explain my wingers comment.

I should probably say 'wide player' rather than just winger but i think we can all agree our attacking is very predictable and one major reason for this is we have no one except maybe suarez who can take on an opponent and go past them. This makes it easy to defend because all the opposition has to do is press and the ball goes back or sideways. Good wide players will also create more space in a crowded middle pitch area. If a winger beats a player they can/should provide a better quality chance than the half chances we create.

The most successful team in the league is as we know Man Utd and they ALWAYS have good wide players. Think about it Giggs, Nani, Ronaldo, Beckham, Valencia etc etc. In fact it looks like they'll win the league with the poorest central midfield they've ever had. and this is why is feel with two good wide we'd be a much better side

We should tell him we're playing Everton every week.

We have missed far too many easy chances this season that decent forwards would finish comfortably

That was a classic example of our finishing prowess this season
In fairness (from the camera angle behind Gerrard) the ball was not a pass by strike, it was just tad behind him and he had a second to react.

Yes Gomez and/or Higuiain would've probably put those away but I thought he was really unlucky there for the most part.
