Chuffed for Jones to save that penalty and end up on the winning team. He is **** but he's a likeable guy and hopefully a win will boost his confidence for Saturday.

Henderson and Bellamy worked their arses off.

****ing love Shelvey's swagger. Thought he was our MOM.
Maxi. Scores everytime he plays. Kenny's biggest mistake this season is not giving the guy more game time.

They left their hearts out today.

It was a ****ing great game for our young players to come through. Henderson, Shelvey, and Coates all did very well, even Carroll, despite the miss and dodgy back- header was a handful bringing the ball down and laying it off.

It was nothing (except terrible presenting).

Just at the sign-off of the program, the frontman turns to the camera and says something like "thanks for joining us, my thanks to Thommo and Brad.......all you can say is goalie-moly" - cue usual terrible Sky montage.


There was a silent gap of probably no more than one second after he finished talking...........felt like it lasted two minutes as the fella's career sunk to its lowest point yet.

Can't even say good win tonight as that was awful. Got out of jail there big time. Great stopping the rot though

It really wasn't awful mate. It was a good win away to a side fighting for their lives with 10 men for over an hour.

Lot's of fans have been really disappointed recently and rightly so but we have to be able to recognise some good when we see it.There were lot's of good performances tonight and had it not been for a young full back making a mistake it looked like being a stroll in the park.

I was pleased for Maxi and thought Shelvey really played well supporting Carroll and also when he had to drop back to the middle.

Henderson probably had his best game for LFC playing right back and Agger coming on and looking like his fit again is excellent news.

All in all,I will go to sleep tonight looking at those positives and thinking bring on the bitters, were 90 mins from another cup final.

Not so awful that.
