I hope that this means that next season we get in someone good but who doesn't bring the same problems. I really think Brukner is right that the fitness regime is one of the aspects of a club which should be in place and functioning regardless of who is manager. It strikes me as one of the things that a Director of Football could usefully be in charge of (along with youth development).
