7th and cup double and i think he stays - i'd also argue that it's been a successful season despite the performances and results at time...

i know things have panned out pretty randomly, but on paper at the start of the season I felt we were the 6th best team/squad behind Utd, City, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal

Newcastle have stunned everyone so fair play to them - I did however expect that although we might be 6th - that we'd at worse be 6th but like 5 points from 4....not 15.

Perhaps the inflated prices were an issue that the FSG laid at DC's door?

Sacking a manager who has just won us the FA Cup and League Cup would be extremely harsh and un-Liverpool IMO, even if we finished 7th.
