If he's still in credit with those assists then fair enough
How many assists from open play does Adam have?

He could have obviously had a lot more but some very bad decision making running towards goal.

Carroll's was apparently about 5-6 days (as was Bellamy's for obvious reasons)!!

Dont know how true it is but its something I heard earlier in the season

They apparently set him a programme to work on this

Dont know if there has been any change in it

Because Lucas is our only defensively capable midfielder, Lucas' passing is excellent and his use of the ball is very good (two things Adam is hit and miss on) and he can set the tempo for us and dictate games for us in a way Adam cannot and he is a significantly more intelligent in his play than Adam is.

The sacking of Comolli could be a bad sign for Kenny. Obviously someone had to go and FSG played it safe as sacking KD will not make sense now especially with FA semi and potential Final @ Wembley. I think if KD doesn't win the FA Cup and win the last few remaining PL games, he will be gone...
I hope KD turns it around and we win the rest of our games..... New manager on the cards ??

That doesnt really answer the question though, Adam was always just as deep as him yet he's expected to defend and score/assist. Lucas expected to just defend. Seems a little harsh.

Kenny's gone. At least as manager. Timing is the key, need someone else doing deals now, but can't leave club managerless. Just my opinion, folks.

I personally didn't expect Adam to score (he has 2 goals from open play in 2 seasons), I just expect a better standard of play from him though in midfield though and more intelligent use of the ball.

Adam is entirely reliant on having a solid defensive base in order to be effective, you know that. Do you think he's good enough for Liverpool to build a team around his attributes like Blackpool did? Or do you think we should be aiming a bit higher than a club who were struggling to stay in the Premier League?

KENNY DALGLISH today insisted he is responsible for all of the signings since returning as Liverpool FC manager - as the Reds' boss revealed his disappointment over Damien Comolli's departure.

Anfield's Director of Football Comolli left the club by mutual consent today after joining the club in November 2010, initially as director of football strategy.

Dalglish has been saddened to see the 39-year-old leave the club and had nothing but praise for Comolli’s work in the transfer market.

"I had a fantastic working and personal relationship with Damien," he said.

"Since he came in he was really helpful in every transfer target we went for.

"Everybody that has come into the club since Damien has been here has been my choice. Whoever I wanted, Damien went away and did a fantastic job in bringing them in.

"It is sad to see anyone leave the football club. He goes with my best wishes and I hope it is not long before we can meet up again.

"For me, we had a good relationship. It is disappointing but I suppose nothing much surprises me in football."

I think if performances don't improve Kenny will be moved upstairs in the summer.

Of course the above statements can also e viewed as a show of support for a man who has just been fired. But the last sentence somehow prevents me from believing that is the case.

I said to you about 15 minutes ago he needs improving on!

I just dont think he's been anywhere near as bad as a lot on here say.

Yes, that's what I thought too.

Maybe they'll be another announcement who knows.
