Carra is finished as a player, Gerrard has a few years left so while I think you're right in what you say the ages of them mean their opinion is worthless, it's hardly as if Gerrard is 26 and would hand in another transfer request.
Their opinion would matter but as you say the age factor might have FSG viewing their opinion as ****

However if Ayre is still at the club then Rafas chances are virtually zero imo

I wouldn't mind, but if it's FSG involved, I doubt it.

Has to be Ayre. Out of his depth in his role it seems.

Not sure where it's from but that Aussie doctor is rumoured to have got the boot.

Not Karl Kennedy, the other one.

But firing a coach that works with the players everyday just days before a semi-final doesn`t make much sense. Unless half the squad hates him.

Right now? Seems unlikely. They couldn't move him upstairs right now realistically as it would be such a massive insult due to the timing.

The thing is we dont know who is wielding the axe and for what exact reasons

There could be a ton of different reasons for them doing what they are doing

they could be doing it under their own steam, on the recommendation of Ayre or even based on discussions with Kenny

                    We have absolutely zero idea
