        I think it would be quite a wide ranging position:

        * Advisor to FSG
        * Relationship builder
        * Influence in major football channels/organisations
        * Assist with transfers
        * Build up scouting network
        * Oversee the messages (PR) coming out of Anfield
        * Stadium planning

                Ayre would have to step aside or leave for us to bring in Dein

                Incidentally I'm sure the guy who replaced Ayre in the commercial side of things left recently

                  Things seem to have stacked up against Comoli; the new players failings, added to the disastorous Suarez translation given by him & how that impacted the hearing; obviously this didn't go down well stateside.

                      No some guy they got from Nike I think

                      Nash was the finance director, he left shortly after FSG came in I think

                        Nash is still on the board according to the offal

                            Would Dein see the end for Ayre though.

                            Its interesting that they are doing a backroom staf shuffle before the season is even over.

                              Ayre would be demoted or sacked if Dein was to come in imo

                              Makes sense to do that now as you want people ready to handle transfers/appoint new managers etc.......

                                i think it would work quite well.

                                ayre would handle the commercial side and most off pitch related matters. dein would be doing a similar job but relating exclusively to footballing matters.

                                ayre signs commercial deals and maximises revenues, and dein spends it. sounds alright to me.
