As has been said it's hard to envisage Dein being interested, he is absolutely Arsenal mad, 68 years old, lived in London all his life - why would he?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

No one at FSG has a clue how to judge Commolis work or what is going wrong at the club.

Commoli feedback tp FSG has been poor and he and kenny always back each other up and say the same things.

Henry asked his opinion about bringing in someone to head things up and Deins name was mentioned !!

Henry said they are going to do it but hadn't yet because with Commoli in situ it was an extra unnecessary and confusing level.

So either Dein is coming or someone of that calibre to head things up, as quite a few on here have suspected.

Could be coincidence, Shaggy could be right in what he says and Dein's presence means nothing.

It doesn't strike me as strange nope, it's easy to bin a DOF at this stage, a goalie coach or whatever but not so easy to get rid of the manager. They've said they aren't satisfied, I'm not sure what else there is to do. Kenny's position I'm sure will be under review now.

Nope. Sunday is the memorial and sacking them on Monday would be a bit classless aswell.

We could use Arsenal as a feeder club to keep him happy

There are many facets to the Carroll transfer imo
and we've now got a player on a large salary who we'd be lucky to get 15m back for.

I wish people would stop banging on about Carroll's transfer fee - there's a lot of very valid reasons why we ended up paying £35m.

It was widely reported we approached other clubs but were knocked back. Newcastle wouldn't budge on a barmy price (why would they?), and we had to spend the money in just a few hours.

Hence, the vastly inflated fee on (at the time) was the best, young, English striker in the league.

Personally I don't blame Comolli for that one.

Yeah, and was that it? A recommendation? Needs closer scrutiny because even we could tell his record at Tottenham was iffy, and then the top boss at St Etienne rips him a new one.

I hope they've consulted people other than the ultimate positive spinner out there. He'd make Hodgson's Liverpool sound like Barcelona with funky stats.

There are other pointers though Matt

Werner is talking about working on transfer targets already

                    Well whose targets are they??

I wouldnt guarantee Kenny is safe but I've a feeling they will give him another season

They got rid of Comolli I think they see that as a solution

As I said Kenny wields huge power and influence, I think hes charmed them frankly and dumped the **** on Comolli's doorstep

I'm not suggesting that we should sack Kenny now or in the future but if you're pointing fingers at poor performance, which FSG seemingly are, then the finger should also be pointed at him.
Depends on what Kenny actually does to a degree though surely. The view from and ex-Blackburn player (article on the BBC site) was interesting which indicated he left a lot of day to day work to the coaches. Therefore if he has a bad or just inappropriate staff he might be expected to have problems.

There was also interview with Fergusson in the Blizzard too where he talked about not doing all that much day to day and the importance of his coaches.

Not to say that Kenny escapes blame but there could be a solid logic behind looking elsewhere.

Me bad the 15th slipped my mind.

Put yourself in Kenny's shoes; do you think you'll perform better or worse after what has happened today if he thinks he is 'under review'?

Either way the money would be lost

If you blame Comolli you have to blame Dalglish too.

                              Indeed.

Sounds like something straight of KopTalk 'Well JH called me the other day blah blah blah blah blah blah'
