Finally, Di Matteo's honeymoon is over. F*cked up thinking he could rest his key players against a very strong Newcastle side. The FA Cup Final should have been his LAST priority...even if he wins the FA but loses the CL final how're Chelsea going to try to win the CL next season if they're not even in it?
Does Di Matteo not know what motivates Abramovich? He ain't exactly got any centrebacks to play against Robben/Ribery/Gomez either. What an idiot of a manager. Newcastle was his real FA Cup Final and he blew it.
Like colin85 said, it will be brilliant justice for them to win nothing and end up outside the CL.One tit for another.

i think chelsea are favourites for this.
we will go into the game on up and down form wheres they will be reasonably happy. obviously last night they got done at home by newcastle and we were beaten at home by fulham but you cant always read too much into these games. Its hard to tell players not to think about a cup final at the weekend.
The only positive i can think of is that we had a reserve team out against fulham and they did put out a very strong side and still got beat. which means that CL qualification for next season is no longer in their hands.

Sure, our record against them lately has been bad. But RDM has distilled belief into the lads again and we should also remember that one of the losses was in the League Cup and the other with the clueless AVB.
