if he starts this will be down to sentiment which would be wrong simple as that. Carra has been a great servant over the years but he should be a back up when players are out injurned now and not a starter.

Gerrard off Suarez as well for me.. Bellamy on the left, those 3 are our biggest threat.. As for the right side, I can see arguments for Kuyt to counter Cole.. Spearing offers us protection but we're so short in CM this year it hurts.

I also think Carra will start Agger at LB is absolute ****e, he's totally useless there.

It would basically be taking one of our best players and taking away his attributes.. I'd go as far to say, if he plays Carragher then Enrique shouldn't be dropped for shape alone!

Centre midfield is a serious problem, I've stuck in Henderson but either him or Shelvey are the only real options for us at the moment.

I think Henderson has the potential to play that kind of holding role, with some value in his vision and long distance passing too. Bit like Alonso, but obviously nowhere near as good and without the ability to dictate tempo. However, anything like that would be in the future, as Henderson isnt good enough or developed enough yet to do it.

Sadly today, our options are limited.

Who are you talking to? Its a ****ing forum.. Of opinions.. Like I said, I'm saying it now because I wanna be 100% behind the team by that point.. We are reducing our chance of winning by moving Skrtel to the left side of CB, Agger to left back and frankly Carragher being there full stop.. Sentiment is messing with 3 positions and weakening us.. IF that's the team, its a disgrace. I won't be on here moaning about it then i'll be watching the game having a drink and cheering the lads on.

That team for me would be correct. I think Henderson is more likely to close down than Shelvey and not switch off, he's more mature in that sense. I'm so up for this game its untrue and I hope the players are as well.

I agree we shouldn't play Carragher but is there any need for all this "I'M GOING TO CALL FOR HIM TO BE SACKED IF WE LOSE" "IT'S A DISGRACE!!!". Have a bit of gratitude for **** sake. And the line about Kenny not doing whats best for us was absolutely disgusting. You need to read up on your history if you dont know enough about this clubs past.

If Carragher doesn't start I hope you'll be as quick to apologise to the manager as you are to hammer him. I doubt it though.

Gerrard would be left needing to sit back to help Spearing protect the back four, and that takes away his attacking threat.

If I saw Lucas's name on the team sheet today, I'd be feeling a lot more confident, he seriously has improved more than any player I can remember. Next season we have a fairly decent spine to work with, I hope he comes back as strong as he was. Immense player.

I agree completly, Gerrard can cause them problems with Suarez further up the pitch.

I really hope we see the line up or there abouts of what I posted earlier, it worked well against Norwich (the formation) and hopefully that was a test run for today.
