Yes it concedes possession but its better to give the opposition the ball 60 yards from goal than 20

Enrique frustrates me with this as he trys to play his way out of trouble too much and gives the ball away alot because of it.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Thing is, we're not ****. We're just **** at winning. Nobody could ever watch that game, same as the Villa one the other week, and say we weren't obviously the better side. So I don't really think the performances are "****ing disgusting", its just the results that are seriously disappointing.

Think you could well be right, that's pretty much my feeling too.

I vowed not to watch more PL matches several games ago. But I am like a faithful junkyard dog and keep coming back for more

Hodgson insulted the fans, the players, and the club. He also brought 2 of the worst players I have ever seen in a red shirt, Poulson and Konchesky, to the club. The results were poor, but his attitude, his disrespect of the institution, his crawling up Fergie's backside, everything was the antithesis of what a LFC manager should be.

Most people are concerned about Kenny's tenure. Hell I think a majority now probably think he should step down at the end of the season. But what do people want us to do about it right now? Unlike Hodgson, Kenny does deserve enough of our respect that we should not be "shouting out" about him in the same way, even though I think its pretty obvious that the majority of fans don't think he's the guy to take us forward after the summer.

I agree 100%. If you look at todays game in isolation, it is the players fault. However in the last 15 games in the PL, out of 45 we have got 12 points. I dont think any manager can survive such a run.

Agree, but I don't think anyone has called the performances themselves "****ing disgusting" - we've played well for most of the season. It's the results that have obviously been far from good enough and that's because we lack goals.

The problem has been our transfer policy last summer. Kenny is partly to blame for that for sure but in terms of coaching and how we play, I can't see too many faults in what he's doing. He's made us exciting to watch, plus we create chances.

We've always relied on Torres and Gerrard and the problem is that we're struggling to replace them.
                            Are we winning?

He should have more players to pass to. Everton game @ Anfield, he set up Stevie G on a plate for his hattrick where it would have been easier to go himself. And he does it all the time for Uruguay. Problem is that for us he hardly ever has enough players joining him in the box making intelligent enough runs that finding them is the best option. Hardly surprising that he just thinks he has to do it all himself most of the time.

The goals we are conceeding are quite literally being gifted to the opposition

Yes prior to that I would blame the midfield and the lack of protection but not in the last few ggoals conceeded in the last few games
Absolutely, poor, poor goals to conceed.

All this talk of selling him, that's the biggest disgrace. He's been our best player this season by a country mile. He could walk into pretty much any side in the world bar Real and Barca (and that's debatable). When you have a gem like Suarez, you buy players to compliment him.

I believe Suarez gets about the amount of goals that we thought he would when we bought him. I'm not defending his missed chances, because he should score more often with the chances he gets, but going on about selling him is absolutely ridiculous imo. We'd be taking another step backwards.

Yes I believe Carroll is meant to be a goalscorer, he was bought to replace Torres who was our goalscorer, what else could he have been bought for?

People criticise Suarez when he makes countless chances for himself and other people, while praising Carroll for winning a few flick ons. At least be consistent.
he more often than not shoots when he creates for himself so I feel hes to selfish to be a creator, I've not said sell him far from it, would be stupid to, Carroll and Torres are totally different so to compare them is unfair, I think the club made a choice when Torres said he wanted to leave was to find someone to partner Luis but I don't think it was a one creator one goalscorer situation but a one skillful 'wiggler' and one big man to share the goals, Torres works best as a one man forward I think so I dont know where we were thinking of playing luis before Torres left
                                RIP IRWT post/rant, best ever
