Of course he's supposed to be a goal scorer, he's a striker. The reason people say what you did is because he doesn't bloody score. How many chances did he have for someone who's not supposed to score a goal? Loads.

Teams would pay a premium for Suarez, far far more than what he's worth through the points he'll get you over a season and that doesn't happen very often. Time to cash in and replace with a couple of strikers who do score goals, proper finishers.

I've said in before and I will say it again, Suarez was bought to partner Torres, I honestly believe he was bought to be a creator, wriggle free from defenders and give Torres the space and time to get a few goals. I believe Suarez gets about the amount of goals that we thought he would when we bought him. I'm not defending his missed chances, because he should score more often with the chances he gets, but going on about selling him is absolutely ridiculous imo. We'd be taking another step backwards.

Yes I believe Carroll is meant to be a goalscorer, he was bought to replace Torres who was our goalscorer, what else could he have been bought for?

People criticise Suarez when he makes countless chances for himself and other people, while praising Carroll for winning a few flick ons. At least be consistent.

Don't see why we should blame Kenny for that. It was clearly the players fault. We created lots of chances but couldn't put em away. Should Kenny really take the blame?

All 4 goals we have conceeded in the last 3 games have been through individual and fundamental errors by defenders

A finisher would solve a lot of our problems but so would eradicating individual errors

I think that teams are always going to make individual mistakes, I think that not scoring goals puts players on edge and the nervousness makes indivdual mistakes more likely.

****ing hell I can't sum that up, it was another stupid game where we had lots of chances but can't score. We've followed the same pattern as we have in so many matches - those of you saying Dalglish isn't to blame - who is? Where does the fault lie?

Something is dreadfully wrong - exactly what is it that Dalglish has to do to either turn things around (unlikely) or accept responsibility for the most uninspiring set of results I have ever known.

LFC fans shouted out against Hodgson and his record was comparable. If it was anyone but Dalglish, the verdict would be unanimous.

See what on earth brought you to think that would be the result? 50 odd games of evidence to go on, not one thing should have made you think we'd do any better than win by the odd goal.

Yeah, madness. Easily our best player despite his flaws. Sure he's rather profligate, but he also creates something out of nothing so often its insane. A couple of other forward players on the same level as him and we would not be in this position even remotely. Much though I hate to say point to an ex Manc, but if we'd even had Forlan playing with him all season I'm absolutely sure we'd have scored a **** load more than we have.

He put the ball on a plate several times in this game. I don't blame him at all for having the confidence to go himself one in a while. All this talk of selling him, that's the biggest disgrace. He's been our best player this season by a country mile. He could walk into pretty much any side in the world bar Real and Barca (and that's debatable). When you have a gem like Suarez, you buy players to compliment him.

A central midfielder wouldnt have helped with Johnsons bad pass today, nor would it have helpd with Carragher & Aggers **** up last week and it wouldnt have helped with Flanagans short ball and Jones dilly-dallying around at Blackburn

The goals we are conceeding are quite literally being gifted to the opposition

Yes prior to that I would blame the midfield and the lack of protection but not in the last few ggoals conceeded in the last few games

i agree, but i think the point is it's different conceding the goal we just scored, and a goal due to a personal mistake when you're already 2-0 up and cruising.

It puts pressure on you but our defenders should be better than that

Yes it concedes possession but its better to give the opposition the ball 60 yards from goal than 20

We should have signed him even if it was just a short term idea

No doubt about it that lad scores goals and he'd get lots more chances with us than he does at Everton
