The thing is a week later he goes to West Ham and pulls his hamstring so what he was telling him was right. If he'd played that game and got injured we'd have been stuck with him (in hindsight probably would have been a good thing.)

You're not wrong and I take the point. But was that great judgement by Mr Rodgers or merely luck,fate or sods law taking place? I'm not sure Mr Rodgers has that great an insight into the fuuture. Then again perhaps it was a good call. But surely a better way would have just to have been upfront and say something like 'look andy, I don't rate you, I want you to leave, you want to play, lets sit this one out and we'll get a move for you next week'. Instead it came across to me as someone trying to be clever, slippery and trying to almost bully the player who clearly isn't the cleverest of gods men. End of. If it wasn't meant like that and that is the way Mr Rodgers plays his cards then so be it. I was just making my thoughts known. Like anyone elses they really serve no purpose anyway. Nurse.

Aye I agree with what you're saying but this is where this doc might not be the best way of portraying Brendan. He might have been armed with the facts from the medical team and they just edited that bit out, you never know. I bet Kenny is glad he's not had to have this camera crew following him round, they'd need subtitles for anything he said.

He did though and that's the greatest shame about this programme, that it was all discarded. It’s understandable why it was, but would have made good viewing I reckon.
